Gideon didn't bother trying to appear polite at all. His hands were clean, so he sat in the middle of the men, in the first vacant chair he saw, and began to eat desperately.

Gareth looked at that and moved his eyes towards Brandon, who just shrugged.

Dinner passed and Gideon wanted to leave to go after Wanda.

"It's already night!" Gareth spoke irritably, but Gideon didn't care.

"Even better. They will not be waiting for us to attack.” He spoke, approaching Gareth. “I'm going after my wife and I don't care if you like it or not!”

“I agree with Gideon.” Brandon spoke and placed a hand on his brother's shoulder. “We cannot wait for the day to dawn. There are many hours and every minute is precious.”

Gareth knew there was no point in arguing. And he couldn't even blame them, they were both as headstrong as he had been when he was young. And that was precisely what helped him to rebuild the Ashfords, which were on the verge of bankruptcy due to his father's bad administration.
