“Let’s fucking start this game and see who’s the boss!” Chul declared.

“I agree.” Landon smiled as well.

Everyone was already yelling and exclaiming for the game to start so that the outcome could be determined. The scene was almost like those death match rings where all the audience members were aggressive. One should know that with money involved, anyone can turn into a ferocious beast.

Instructor Tricia watched the scene, not knowing how it had all come to this. She initially wasn’t comfortable with bettings and the game from the beginning but she just shrugged the feeling of cautioning the student because she thought she wasn’t in school. Since they were outside the school premises and the rest of today was just for fun, she decided to permit the students to do whatever they wanted for fun. After all, they had just faced a near-death experience today so allowing the students to loosen up a bit won’t do any harm.

That was all she thought until the entire hot springs became a g

However, clearly at the spot Magnus and Chul were the top civilians resisting the masked men. Anywhere they moved to their masked men all fell. Even Landon ended up joining the melee to protect himself and those around him. Some of the resort securities had joined in on their scuffle as well. It was almost as if the Masked men's goal was to cause a massacre. Landon, Chul, and Magnus were so strong that their strength kept the multitudes of masked men at bay. However, soon a lean figure started flashing within the crowd of civilians running around before Landon, Chul, and Magnus could even notice. It did some strange things once before finally showing its existence. Magnus was focused on fig

. . After the cloaked figure vanished, the rest of his masked men retreated as well. Landon could do nothing about it when he saw all the masked men who had attacked the place escaping. The security of the resorts didn’t bother to do anything to try to stop the retreating soldiers. Instead, they just watched them leave. Their reason for this was that the number of masked men was so many and unstoppable that they were the ones being pressured. Their confrontation with the masked men was because they were trying to do their job as security officers and also survive as well. There were so many of the resort's security officers that had run away when they saw the multitudes of masked men attacking. These were the cowards not willing to die because of their salaries as security men. Either way, most of everyone present was relieved to see the masked men retreating. However, Landon felt completely different. His heart ached when he saw the multitudes of masked men retreating. He didn’t

Knowing that Chul had never liked Landon, Ruth stepped forward and started explaining. “Chul Kim, we are questioning this bastard if he has seen Jasmine Rivera, Ashley Enoch, and one of our friends Kira but he’s not answering. His attitude is annoying all of us. Knowing how weak he is, he must have run and hid in a corner while something terrible happened to his friends. He’s such a big loser!” “Yes, he is the biggest loser of all that should be taught a lesson!” Elena said as well. They both knew that Chul had gotten into many confrontations with Landon and it was all because of Jasmine Rivera. Since Chul liked Jasmine but Jasmine preferred to be with Landon this made Chul naturally hate Landon and this was a fact everyone had noticed. Both ladies knew this and it was why they wanted to create a situatio

. . “Good Job, Mr. Taylor!” Silent Logan praised from the corner. “Our Sovereign would be pleased.” They had just ended the video session with Landon where he pretended to be the boss and gave the order for Jude, Landon’s best friend to be killed. “Will this help me get my son?” Gerald asked. All the traces of his confidence he had a second ago in the video section were now gone. “Yes, as far as you serve the orange sovereign well we can assure you, you will get your son alive.” Silent Logan chuckled. Gerald bowed. “Thank you for all your help, sir.” “You don’t need to thank me. I am just helping a friend fight a fellow enemy. After all, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Silent Logan's voice betrayed his smile from his mask. “I know, but thank you for this opportunity,” Gerald replied sincerely. He was very grateful for Silent Logan’s help because without them approaching him, he wouldn’t have gotten the chance to get this far in getting his son out of prison. A few months

"Unstoppable?" Landon repeated the word, his voice laced with confusion as he tried to process such an overwhelming description. He had always believed, without a shadow of a doubt, that there were only seven Sovereigns in existence. It was a known fact—an absolute truth that had been passed down through history. And now, not only was he forced to acknowledge the shocking revelation that there was an eighth Sovereign, but he also had to accept that this mysterious figure wasn’t just powerful—she was on an entirely different level. Landon prided himself on his strength as the Crimson Sovereign. He knew exactly how formidable he was, and so did Eve. She had seen firsthand what he was capable of. Yet, despite knowing his strength, she had just described the White Sovereign as unstoppable. That wasn’t a word to be taken lightly. That had to mean something, right? Eve’s voice was steady as she nodded, her expression serious. "Yes, she is literally unstoppable," she confirmed, her

. . "That’s because I found myself entangled in a perilous situation—the most dangerous kind of all..." Quincy said, his face pale and marked by an expression of deep-seated fear, as though reliving a terrifying memory. His voice quivered slightly, but his tone carried the weight of someone who had been through a harrowing ordeal. "Danger?" Landon’s curiosity intensified as he leaned forward, hanging on Quincy’s every word. "What kind of danger are you talking about?" Quincy took a deep breath, his shoulders sagging slightly under the burden of the story he was about to tell. "You see," he began, "I’ve been under surveillance by the King family’s people for years now—at least as far back as I can remember." His voice dropped lower, as though afraid the shadows around them might be listening. "It all started after my adopted parents were killed five years ago. My adopted parents, as it turns out, were members of a royal family embroiled in a vicious internal power struggle. In thei

..Landon was at a complete loss for words as he stared at the young man before him. The declaration he had just heard seemed so unbelievable that his mind struggled to process it. He stood frozen, trapped not by the remnants of the glowing chains that had bound him moments ago, but by the sheer shock of the situation. He had already been grappling with the mystery of the strange, glowing white chains that had immobilized him. Their appearance alone was enough to throw him into confusion, yet now he was being dragged into an entirely new layer of uncertainty—one far more personal. Big brother? “Wait…” Landon finally managed to speak, his voice tinged with disbelief. “What did you just say?” He needed to hear it again, just to make sure he hadn’t misunderstood. The young man in front of him smiled, his expression calm and confident. “I said…I’m Quincy, your younger brother.” He spoke as though this revelation was the most natural thing in the world. As he spoke, he continued w

..Out of the six transfer students, this particular male stood out. He didn’t bother to hide his curiosity or disguise the fact that he was observing Landon. Even when their eyes met, the boy held his gaze, unflinching. Rather than engage in a staring contest, Landon chose to look away. It wasn’t out of intimidation but rather a calculated decision. His current persona as a miserable, unremarkable student didn’t align with the idea of locking eyes confidently with a stranger. Maintaining his cover was more important than asserting dominance in this situation. The rest of the school day proceeded without incident, and soon enough, Landon was done with his classes. As he prepared to leave campus, Kara approached him. “Landon, are you okay?” she asked gently. Her voice was filled with genuine concern, though she seemed hesitant to bring up the events of yesterday directly. Landon smiled warmly and reassured her, “I’m fine, Kara. Don’t worry about me.” Though they exchanged on

..It was the next day, and classes had resumed as if nothing had happened. The bustling halls of Cradle Valley University were alive with the usual sounds of chatter, laughter, and hurried footsteps. Students moved from one building to another, clutching textbooks and exchanging cheerful greetings. Even Landon, who was making his way to class, noted how ordinary everything appeared. Looking around, he observed how everyone was preoccupied with their own affairs, going about their routines without a second glance at him. It was almost surreal. Considering the dramatic events of yesterday, one would expect the university to be in complete disarray, struggling to recover from the attack. Yet, to Landon’s surprise, today felt like any other mundane school day. By the time Landon arrived at his classroom, he felt a shift in the atmosphere. The moment he stepped through the door, he could feel every pair of eyes fixate on him. For a brief moment, the room fell eerily silent, and all a

..After spending a grueling few hours in the detention center, the students and staff of Cradle Valley University had reached a breaking point. They were exhausted, both physically and mentally, and were willing to do almost anything to regain their freedom and return to their normal lives. The cold, confining walls of the detention center had stripped away their usual composure, leaving them desperate and eager to comply with any demands that might lead to their release. The relief that washed over their faces when they learned the authorities had found them innocent was palpable. It was like the first taste of water after being stranded in a barren desert. They clung to the promise of freedom with a fervent determination, as if their very lives depended on it. Each individual was delighted, grateful to escape the harsh reality of imprisonment. Among the entire group, Tricia stood out as the most visibly relieved. She had spent her time in the detention center cursing Frank under h
