“Who is this?”

The voice on the other end of the call was from a mature man but it was not the same as the man who answered the title of nobody.

Landon did not know why the voice felt familiar but it was not the divine slayer martial artist he had just met today calling him.

[ “Oh goodness I have been waiting for the day you will ask me this question now that day has finally come.”] The owner of the voice savored the feeling of the moment.

“Are you going to keep being a weirdo or are you going to tell me who you are?”

The man chuckled over the phone when he heard Landon’s retort. [ “Arrogant as always. Don’t worry when I’m done with you I’m sure this arrogant attitude of yours will be completely gone. But to satisfy your curiosity I am Gerald Taylor.” ]

“Gerald Taylor.” When Landon heard the name his eyes suddenly glinted with surprise. “You mean Xander’s father?”

[ “Correct! Seems like you have got a good memory to remember a small man like me.” ] Gerald laughed over the phone.
