[“Young master we are here already! Please can you find one of the roofs with space so we can pick you up? We will communicate with the resort for the reason for our arrival.” ] Eve reported from the other end of the call. The sound of the helicopter blade cutting the air could be heard along with her voice.

Landon looked around till he saw a suitable rooftop far away from where the students were gathered in the resorts.

“Pick me up at the roof with a big blue tank on it,” Landon replied.

[“Okay young master.” ]

The call between Eve and Landon ended and Landon left the place where the students were gathered on without them noticing. The only person who noticed him leaving was Chul.

However, Chul didn’t dare to call out to him. Instead, he felt Landon had not answered his apology. He didn’t want to do anything that would annoy Landon so he decided to let Landon go for now.

Meanwhile, Eve was able to communicate with the IT department resort to let them know that they were not a thr

..“Who is this?”The voice on the other end of the call was from a mature man but it was not the same as the man who answered the title of nobody.Landon did not know why the voice felt familiar but it was not the divine slayer martial artist he had just met today calling him.[ “Oh goodness I have been waiting for the day you will ask me this question now that day has finally come.”] The owner of the voice savored the feeling of the moment.“Are you going to keep being a weirdo or are you going to tell me who you are?”The man chuckled over the phone when he heard Landon’s retort. [ “Arrogant as always. Don’t worry when I’m done with you I’m sure this arrogant attitude of yours will be completely gone. But to satisfy your curiosity I am Gerald Taylor.” ]“Gerald Taylor.” When Landon heard the name his eyes suddenly glinted with surprise. “You mean Xander’s father?”[ “Correct! Seems like you have got a good memory to remember a small man like me.” ] Gerald laughed over the phone.T

It was not only him but his fellow inmates were also taken by surprise as well.“Doesn’t this P*say have to stay here for five years? Why is he getting released now?” The burly man covered in tattoos asked.Xander was so surprised and curious that he listened to hear what the prison guard had to say after hearing his fellow burly inmate's question.“I don’t know but we got an order from the judge to have him released immediately. Can you come out now Mr. Taylor?” The prison guard lazily replied as he opened the gate.“Y-You mean I’m now free to go?” Xander asked still unable to believe his current reality.“Yes, you are free to go. You heard me right. Or do you love your stay here?” The prison guard prompted when he noticed the Xander’s reluctance.“Wait, I’ll come out!” Xander answered again without hesitation as he got to his feet and walked outside the cell with hasten

The team was composed of professional martial artists, three God-level martial artists, and a Divine Slayer martial artist. With such powerful soldiers and a good plan, they were bound to rescue Trixie and the rest of his friends even if the powerful nobody ended up becoming present.Gerald had invited Landon to the outer perimeter of Dimvale City in the east.“A really good place to choose for the location of a meet. The direct opposite distance from their hideout. They forget that they are up against one of the families of the shadows.” Eve scoffed as she watched the assault team leaving the hotel.Xander was completely confused about what was going on and the worst part was that no one bothered to give him any explanation even after

. . “Good Job, Mr. Taylor!” Silent Logan praised from the corner. “Our Sovereign would be pleased.” They had just ended the video session with Landon where he pretended to be the boss and gave the order for Jude, Landon’s best friend to be killed. “Will this help me get my son?” Gerald asked. All the traces of his confidence he had a second ago in the video section were now gone. “Yes, as far as you serve the orange sovereign well we can assure you, you will get your son alive.” Silent Logan chuckled. Gerald bowed. “Thank you for all your help, sir.” “You don’t need to thank me. I am just helping a friend fight a fellow enemy. After all, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Silent Logan's voice betrayed his smile from his mask. “I know, but thank you for this opportunity,” Gerald replied sincerely. He was very grateful for Silent Logan’s help because without them approaching him, he wouldn’t have gotten the chance to get this far in getting his son out of prison. A few months

..Inside the uncompleted building in the west region of Dimvale City.Eve felt severe pain when she and the rest of the soldiers were blown back by a shock wave they never expected. Neither of them had expected such a wave from Landon out of anger and anxiety.Even after thirty minutes, neither she nor the men were able to stand up. The effect of the shockwave on their bodies was too strong. When Eve raised her head from her lying position to look at Landon, she found out he was on his knees. Landon has been kneeling in that same position for more than thirty minutes. She could tell that he was going through a great deal of grief. Anyone in Landon’s position would feel grief after watching their close friend get murdered. Eve could tell Landin felt his grief way more than a normal person would because, unlike a normal person who was weak, he had the power to decide the fates of many in the world but he could not change the fate of his friend. Such grief must be really hard for him

. . “You need our help?” Tanya was surprised when she heard Landon’s words. “Yes,” Landon replied calmly. “But before I tell you what I want you both to do for me I have to ask. How are you both still alive? If you both suffer from the insomnia disease as you claim you both should already be dead.” It had been weeks since Landon visited the Royalcrest county and he was sure it was the same for these two as well. If they had contracted the insomnia disease from the last time they had seen each other then they should both be dead by now. It was known that those with insomnia disease do not survive for the next seven days. It has been way more than seven days since these two bounty hunters left Royalcrest County yet they are still alive. This is what Landon wanted to find out about. “About that…we were able to acquire an elixir that can slow down the effects of the Insomnia disease drastically but not completely cure it. Even if we are not dead for now if we don’t get cured from our

. . “Actually, I know where Joel Silver is.” The words Quiet Bruce were like a bombshell that had been dropped, leaving everyone completely quiet. Landon did not expect such a declaration. He had already given up on finding Joel Silver but Quiet Bruce ended up declaring he knows where Joel Silver is. “You know where Joel Silver is?” Landon asked again to confirm his next words. “Yes.” Quiet Bruce replied. “Hey, do you know what we are talking about here? We are talking about the famous Joel Silver here.” Eve looked at him with eyes of doubt. Joel Silver’s location has not been known for a decade now. There’s no way a silver-grade bounty hunter can know his location just like that. Such information was a treasure to begin with. “Yeah, Quiet Bruce, what are you talking about? Are you sure you are not running a fever? How can you know Joel Silver's exact location?” Tanya also looked at him with doubting eyes as well. She can’t believe there’s a bounty hunter on the face of the e

..“Huh? Master in Martial arts?” Landon asked after hearing Eve’s words.“Yes, young master. We have masters in martial arts in our family that can efficiently deal with this in minutes.” Eve said.“Do I need them to deal with this? I can just go with the bounty hunter to meet Joel Silver and take care of it myself.” Said Landon.“I know, young master but I wouldn’t suggest that if I am to share my opinion,” Eve suggested respectfully.“Do you mind sharing with me why you think this way?” Landon was concerned as to why Eve had such an opinion.Right from day one since he met her he has always cherished her advice. It was not for nothing that she was a known powerful spokesman of the King family here in Dimvale City so whatever opinion she had was greatly welcomed by him.“Since Joel Silver is currently outside Dimvale City, I won’t suggest you go seek him yourself. Since our current enemies are very much aware of your identity, they might be watching your every move. We still don’t

"Unstoppable?" Landon repeated the word, his voice laced with confusion as he tried to process such an overwhelming description. He had always believed, without a shadow of a doubt, that there were only seven Sovereigns in existence. It was a known fact—an absolute truth that had been passed down through history. And now, not only was he forced to acknowledge the shocking revelation that there was an eighth Sovereign, but he also had to accept that this mysterious figure wasn’t just powerful—she was on an entirely different level. Landon prided himself on his strength as the Crimson Sovereign. He knew exactly how formidable he was, and so did Eve. She had seen firsthand what he was capable of. Yet, despite knowing his strength, she had just described the White Sovereign as unstoppable. That wasn’t a word to be taken lightly. That had to mean something, right? Eve’s voice was steady as she nodded, her expression serious. "Yes, she is literally unstoppable," she confirmed, her

. . "That’s because I found myself entangled in a perilous situation—the most dangerous kind of all..." Quincy said, his face pale and marked by an expression of deep-seated fear, as though reliving a terrifying memory. His voice quivered slightly, but his tone carried the weight of someone who had been through a harrowing ordeal. "Danger?" Landon’s curiosity intensified as he leaned forward, hanging on Quincy’s every word. "What kind of danger are you talking about?" Quincy took a deep breath, his shoulders sagging slightly under the burden of the story he was about to tell. "You see," he began, "I’ve been under surveillance by the King family’s people for years now—at least as far back as I can remember." His voice dropped lower, as though afraid the shadows around them might be listening. "It all started after my adopted parents were killed five years ago. My adopted parents, as it turns out, were members of a royal family embroiled in a vicious internal power struggle. In thei

..Landon was at a complete loss for words as he stared at the young man before him. The declaration he had just heard seemed so unbelievable that his mind struggled to process it. He stood frozen, trapped not by the remnants of the glowing chains that had bound him moments ago, but by the sheer shock of the situation. He had already been grappling with the mystery of the strange, glowing white chains that had immobilized him. Their appearance alone was enough to throw him into confusion, yet now he was being dragged into an entirely new layer of uncertainty—one far more personal. Big brother? “Wait…” Landon finally managed to speak, his voice tinged with disbelief. “What did you just say?” He needed to hear it again, just to make sure he hadn’t misunderstood. The young man in front of him smiled, his expression calm and confident. “I said…I’m Quincy, your younger brother.” He spoke as though this revelation was the most natural thing in the world. As he spoke, he continued w

..Out of the six transfer students, this particular male stood out. He didn’t bother to hide his curiosity or disguise the fact that he was observing Landon. Even when their eyes met, the boy held his gaze, unflinching. Rather than engage in a staring contest, Landon chose to look away. It wasn’t out of intimidation but rather a calculated decision. His current persona as a miserable, unremarkable student didn’t align with the idea of locking eyes confidently with a stranger. Maintaining his cover was more important than asserting dominance in this situation. The rest of the school day proceeded without incident, and soon enough, Landon was done with his classes. As he prepared to leave campus, Kara approached him. “Landon, are you okay?” she asked gently. Her voice was filled with genuine concern, though she seemed hesitant to bring up the events of yesterday directly. Landon smiled warmly and reassured her, “I’m fine, Kara. Don’t worry about me.” Though they exchanged on

..It was the next day, and classes had resumed as if nothing had happened. The bustling halls of Cradle Valley University were alive with the usual sounds of chatter, laughter, and hurried footsteps. Students moved from one building to another, clutching textbooks and exchanging cheerful greetings. Even Landon, who was making his way to class, noted how ordinary everything appeared. Looking around, he observed how everyone was preoccupied with their own affairs, going about their routines without a second glance at him. It was almost surreal. Considering the dramatic events of yesterday, one would expect the university to be in complete disarray, struggling to recover from the attack. Yet, to Landon’s surprise, today felt like any other mundane school day. By the time Landon arrived at his classroom, he felt a shift in the atmosphere. The moment he stepped through the door, he could feel every pair of eyes fixate on him. For a brief moment, the room fell eerily silent, and all a

..After spending a grueling few hours in the detention center, the students and staff of Cradle Valley University had reached a breaking point. They were exhausted, both physically and mentally, and were willing to do almost anything to regain their freedom and return to their normal lives. The cold, confining walls of the detention center had stripped away their usual composure, leaving them desperate and eager to comply with any demands that might lead to their release. The relief that washed over their faces when they learned the authorities had found them innocent was palpable. It was like the first taste of water after being stranded in a barren desert. They clung to the promise of freedom with a fervent determination, as if their very lives depended on it. Each individual was delighted, grateful to escape the harsh reality of imprisonment. Among the entire group, Tricia stood out as the most visibly relieved. She had spent her time in the detention center cursing Frank under h
