It was quick as all attention whirled to face Joan, regarding her statement deeming Mael a thief and instructing one of her staff to call the cops on him.

“Excuse me, what are you talking about?” Mael could feel his anger rising, and his voice wasn’t hiding the fact neither his expression.

He had been gentle enough with this lady, and she keeps trying to embarrass him. It’s only fair, he teaches her a lesson.

“I said you’re a thief, and I’m going to proof it to everybody. Just wait till the cops get here. A little advice though, I will start running if I were you so I won’t end up in jail.” She expatiated on her false accusation, seeming more courageous and bold even.

Rage marred widely on Mael’s face, watching as the lady spewed nothing but nonsense out of her gutter mouth. Fighting over the urge to reach over and slap some sense into her head.
