Chapter Eighteen

Mael exited the salon afterwards, refusing to amuse more of the gathered audience. He still had a whole dinner to get ready for in such a short time.

He went straight to a clothing store, picked out a nicely tailored black suit, sparkling and with a rich fabrics. He got few more jewelries, before leaving the mall to go dress up for his dinner with the Mayor.

Just as Mael was walking out of the mall, a figure crossed his path. Blair to be precise, blocking his way from walking off.

“Your mother saw me today, warned me to stop chasing you around or following you guys.” He snorted, curving a little smirk. “Now the tides seems to be changing with you Blair, what do you want with me?” Mael asked, folding the clothes packaging he had with him into his arms that crossed over his chest, eyes peering out into Blair’s timid gaze.

“We need to talk.”

“About what? I’m kind of in a hurry.” He denounced, glancing down at his phone’s screen to check the time. He was now late for
