Chapter Thirteen

Mael came in terms with the news, feeling as the sadness draped over him, pulling him into a reserved state as he stared blankly into the silence.

Victoria and Sybil purposely left the scene, wanting him to reminisce alone before going back to him.

Minutes went by, and Mael remained silent, seated in the same position with his face stoic and unhinged to the chaos going on inside of him.

He was bawling inside, his family of many years. Pain shot through him, emotional pain filled him up at the thought of their demises.

He wanted to cry, but there weren’t any tears coming out. He could feel as the sadness torn him up from the inside.

His father was no more, also his mother, and the people he referred to as closed loved ones. He couldn’t protect them, he lost them to his enemies.

For no reason, they murdered his entire family line. He has nobody but his sister left, the only humans on earth bearing the last name Ze’Ev.
