Chapter Thirty

The door beeped, pushing open automatically. Mael’s eyes narrowed to the entrance to see him walking into the room, totally unaware of his presence.

He closed the door back, heaving a deep sigh as he proceed to take off his jacket when his gaze landed on Mael.

“Who are you?” Alarmed, he questioned.

Mael took off the glasses shading his vision, and the face mask hiding his identity, revealing himself to him before pushing to his feet.

Mael furrowed his brows, why wasn’t he shocked or the least surprised by the revelation.

“Still confused or you have a different question to ask now?” Mael came forward, moving out of his spot and approaching Joe in a slow cautious pace.

“I do Infact, what are you doing here? Are you not suppose to be dead? Or-“

“Don’t play dumb now, Joe. You gave yourself away the moment I revealed myself. You know I was alive, you know everything. The question is, what don’t you know? But we can save that for later. For now, I’m going to need you
