Emma's brother struggled to stand, but his legs gave out beneath him. The men closed in, trapping them. Marcus pulled out a gun from his pocket, loaded it with bullets, and handed it to Emma.

"You'll have to shoot," he said, his eyes fixed on the approaching men.

"I don't know how to shoot," Emma protested, her voice trembling.

"You'll have to do it if you want to survive," Marcus warned her, his voice firm.

"Shoot!" he screamed, as the men drew closer. Emma fired the gun, her hands shaking. Marcus joined in, firing shot after shot at the men.

"Good job! Keep shooting if you want to survive!" he yelled, his eyes fixed on the attackers.

The sound of gunfire echoed through the alleyway, the smell of smoke filling the air. Emma's brother watched in horror, unable to move, as Marcus and Emma fought to protect him.

In no time, the men were lying on the ground, writhing in pain, some of them dead. Marcus stood up and began to search their bodies, confiscating their guns and pocketing
