 “Okay, if it’s like that. That’s very good, Grandma. I’m really reluctant to show my name to everyone, with Grandma’s name I actually feel helped.”

“Grandma, are you crazy? How could you—”

“Tonight, gather all members of the Hoodie family and announce all this to them. Agree or not, they must obey my decision and everyone must obey what I have decided.”

“This is crazy!” Miles immediately slammed one of the ceramics beside him and then he just left the Hoodie family residence.

“Thank you, Grandma. I will prove to you that I am capable, and I promise to make you proud to have a leader like me.”

Daren insisted on becoming the leader of the Hoodie family company because he wanted to fight directly with Erdward. Daren was very curious about how Erdward would see him become a leader in another company, and prove to his family that he was capable. Even though he was in the position of a family company which it still needed an injection of funds from his family company in any case.

“Of all the greedy humans, you are the only one who doesn’t know himself, Daren.”

After Daren and Serena returned home, Serena immediately said something unpleasant to the ears.

Daren was silent, trying not to respond to Serena’s words at all. He knew that this was enough to shock Serena beyond words.

“Do you know enough about who you are? Even I, who studied business majoring, who even studied with my late grandfather in the company, don’t dare to ask for the position of company leader. Why are you so presumptuous? Will you teach all employees how to deliver food to all your customers? Will you convince the board of directors how to work delivering food very well? You will be laughed at by them because they think you are a stupid man who doesn’t know himself, and the company's shares will immediately’fall drastically because the Hoodie family company has an uneducated and inexperienced leader like you, and what’s even stranger…” said Serena while scrambling. She brushed her hair, feeling frustrated. “Why did Grandma have to entrust such a big company to you to lead, Daren?”

“Am I that bad in your eyes, Serena?” Daren asked with an extremely disappointed expression on his face.

“Are you not?” asked Serena with a contemptuous look.

Daren smiled then he nodded his head perfectly. “How about you make a bet with me?”

“A bet?”

“Yes, if I am able to make your family’s company have a good image to other companies so that other companies want to collaborate with your company, then you have to do something for me.”

“Are you crazy? Are you sure you can do it? Don’t bet on things that don’t make sense, Daren.”

“I’m sure I can do it.”

Serena was silent for a moment seeing Damian’s confidence. It was a belief that was enough to make Serena shudder.

“Okay, what would you want if you could do it?” Serena asked at last, folding her arms across her chest.

Daren tried to think about what things he could ask his wife, until finally a grin appeared faintly on the edge of Daren’s lips.

“If I succeed in doing that then sleep with me like a real husband and wife.”

Serena was speechless by these words, her mouth pressed tightly, her face was bright red. She really didn’t expect that Daren’s request would be completely beyond her reasoning.

 This morning, Daren was standing in front of the company owned by the Hoodie family, and luckily he already had a new shirt that Jackob had given him. So, Daren didn’t need to embarrass himself to meet his new colleagues.

“Who are you?” asked the security guard just as he saw Daren step into the company.

Daren turned his head. With a friendly smile, he immediately showed his ID Card.

“I’m the new CEO of this company, is there anything wrong with that?” Daren asked.

The security guard seemed confused. How could he not, he knew that the CEO of the company owned by the Hoodie family was Miles. Without any meetings or anything else, how could suddenly on this bright morning the CEO change? Because as far as security guards knew, Miles was an ambitious leader who will definitely continue as CEO, even if possible forever.

“Excuse me, is Young Master Hoodie chronically ill and needs quite a lot of time to recover?” asked the security guard.

Daren shook his head perfectly, because Miles wasn’t sick at all.

“No, he is healthy, and he can walk very well. He can even run if he wants.”

“Or maybe Young Master Hoodie was away somewhere for quite a long time so you came to replace him? Who are you? Why have I never seen you before in the Hoodie family?”

“My name is Daren Wiles, I am the grandson-in-law of the Hoodie family. And I never show myself, so rarely anyone knows about me.”

“Which company did you work for before, sir? Why is the name Wiles quite familiar?”

“No, I didn’t work anywhere before. I did not own nor I did lead any company.”

“Are you crazy?” said the security officer. “How can people who have no experience be trusted to run a company?”

Daren smiled again, while blinking his eyes he said, “You’ll see, whether I’m capable enough or not at all.”

Daren stepped in, a woman in work clothes who was quite sexy walked over to Daren. Daren pulled his eyebrows together, until the woman bowed quite significantly.

“Welcome to the company, Mr. Wiles. I hope you enjoy working here.”

Daren was silent for a moment, Mr. Wiles? Didn’t Daren introduce himself yesterday as Daren Hoodie, so how could the woman in front of him even call him Mr ... Wiles?
