Daren nodded then smiled faintly at Jackob. “You are Dad’s only employee I can trust and rely on, Jack. And I hope that whatever Dad’s attitude towards me, you will always protect him. He is old and frail even though he acts great at times.”

“Very well, Young Master Wiles. I will always obey all your orders.”

“Good!”

After talking with Jackob, Daren even went straight home. He also brought several luxurious menus from the restaurant.

When he got home, Daren put all the food menus on the dining table. Serena, who had just opened the bedroom door, glanced at what Daren had brought.

“What are you carrying? Where were you from?”

“I just came from the Wiles family company to do a demo.”

“Demo?” Serena said with a mocking smile. “I’m sure, even all the files you brought were thrown away by them without them looking at those files first.”

Serena was just about to touch the food on her table, when a call came into her cell phone. It was a call from her grandmother. Serena quickly accepted the call.

“What is it, Grandma?” Serena asked afterward.

“Tell Daren, if the cooperation extension agreement between the Wiles family company and the Hoodie family company has been approved. Now ask him or send him here, I want to know what position he wants in the company so I can prepare it."

“What?” Serena was shocked. Even Serena almost couldn’t believe this.

“Who called you?” Daren asked, Serena just kept silent. “Is that Grandma? Did Grandma say the agreement was approved?” Daren guessed again.

Serena gasped then she put her dead cell phone away. “Grandma asked, what position do you want in the company, as a gratitude. Grandma will prepare whatever position you want.”

“Is it true?” Daren asked.

“Yes, of course.”

“If that’s the case, I want to be the CEO of your family company.” Daren answered firmly.

“What? Are you crazy? Do you want to take my position in my own family company? You really are hallucinating!” Miles shouted.

How could Miles not be angry, he was invited to meet with Mrs. Hoodie to discuss the position that Daren would occupy, and what was crazy for them was that Daren asked for an unreasonable position.

“Which school do you think you graduated from, Daren? Explain to me! What’s your degree? And how long have you worked at the company? Even you are just a food delivery person from a small restaurant. “Okay, I will entrust the Hoodie family company to you to take over temporarily, Daren. What if I give you one year? You will take over leadership of the Hoodie family company within one year, I want to know how you will lead your company.
