Chapter 13

Damon took an excuse and answered his call on the side while Ric stayed unfazed before the man who looked worse than an angry bird.

"Thank You so much." Damon ended the call immediately and rushed back to Ric's side.

"Sir, I just got a call from the bank that this property has been put on sale already." Damon looked at the property owner with wide eyes.

"Do you think I will feed my family with just oxygen since you have refused to pay up? You have just one week to vacate the property before a buyer comes along and wants to move in immediately." The man spoke in a coquettish manner.

Damon was bothered because Ric had only arrived and now they were both going to be homeless if they did not pay up the outstanding debts in a week.

"What if we get the money owed across to you before you find a buyer?" Ric asked raking his sharp mind for a solution without ratting himself out before Damon.

"You should start by asking how much is owed because obviously you have come to squat with your friend
