The vines started moving and before I could move, I got tied down. The lady dipped her finger inside my body and our finger pierced through my skin, she let out a drop of my blood on the dungeon core and some words appear in the air

I was forced to accept the role of a dungeon Master

when the message that filled the air disappeared I looked around, this desolate cave felt more like home.

Hearing those words I clenched my fist and anger shown on my face; I am what I hated most

"by the way my name is Warg and it is your responsibility to protect me and the dungeon core"

"That's why you forced the dungeon mastering role on me, for your own life?" I looked at the dungeon core, it was a big size coin in blue light. It is a precious treasure, the worthiest in dungeon hunting reward. If I don't have to protect this, I can just take it to the human world and become rich.

"That's wrong, this dungeon core is my life and the foundation of the dungeon, your home. if it get destroyed, I will die and you will be homeless, probably get killed by humans or devils"

I neglected warg and I isolated myself; with this weird thing going on I don't know what to do.

"You are supposed to be my master and I your closest subordinate, you can't neglect me like that" I still didn't reply so Warg continued "then I guess I'll do things on my own. First is to explain this new world to you, this world is working under a different system and I'll will give you a brief and compressive explanation"

Warg sighed because of my interruption but continued talking "All I need you to do is listen. There is a general shop, where you can buy everything you need for yourself and dungeon protection. There skills, monsters, all thing you need" Warg waved her hand in the empty place and some words appeared

[Welcome to the General Shop] after the words, the picture of a castle showed in the air, it was very beautiful and guarded

"This is the castle of the dark lord, it is empty for now and only the winning can possess it"

"I never knew the devils have eyes for good things too, I thought they only know how to destroy"

"They do destroy when they have a reason to. I know you have a good heart and can't bear killing humans but whether you participate or not according to the devil God's plan, most humans will still die. There are 69 other devils killing humans, your exception won't affect the god's plan but you've got a chance to save humanity. The devils are evil but you are different, if you become the devil king you can command all devils never to kill humans but if a devil becomes the king that is the end of all humans. Looks like Warg already made up her mind, it's either I join or I die. Well all she said is true, it's better I kill a little now and save many later than not kill at all while many will die later.

"I'm in, I must be the devil king to stop devils from killing humans" I stood up and went closer to the general shop, there are two words under the devil king's castle on the left side 'close shop' and on the right 'shop'. I clicked on shop and an inventory appeared with all items that I can buy with my points

As an I hybrid I have a low point of 100000 pts. Warg said that real devils earn double and devils with higher position earn very high points that I cannot imagine for a welcome bonus. I can't be jealous, I'm just an hybrid after all

There were things from regular potion to extremely strong magic weapons

Some expensive ones cost hundreds of points but I don't know what I'm looking for. I kept scrolling the pages and soon I reached a line up of skill books.

By purchasing skill books, users can use different powers at the same time. I think this will enhance my strength as a superhuman, I won't be limited to those born with devil power. No wonder humans don't term my powers as strong, it isn't a skill in the first place. The strength of a skill book depends on its level, this meant that with many points you could easily become very strong

I am starting to like this dungeon since helping me grow stronger is part of my benefits, it won't do much harm

"The market is limited to the skill books in this inventory, once a devil buys one, it disappear. It's better you buy what you need when you can buy it" Warg advised

"So the earliest dog eats the latest bone right?"

"You are already the late dog, you fight for the fat bone or you eat the bad one"

"There are bad skills on the market?"

"Not really, but there some skills that bear names that are contradictory to what they can do"

"You know I have always believe devils are liars"

"I won't object that statement"

I took my face of the inventory and looked at Warg

"Devils are really liars?"

"Yeah, devils are good liars they are so ruthless that they don't care how you feel, they can do anything to get what they are pursuing"

I spent sometimes checking all skill books in the inventory and I don't know which to choose

"Of you'll ask for my advice, then I'll tell you to choose a skill that will compliment your devil abilities like a fire skill" Warg advised

"Why a fire skill?"

"Because fire is an inborn power of the devils but you didn't have it because you are incomplete"

"In other words, devils are immune to fire, right"

"You are wise, dungeon master"

"Well am not, I want a skill that can counter the powers of devils, is ice a suggestion?"

"No, although ice skills might truly reduce the effect of devils fire, fire ain't the only devils power"

"Ok, then let's keep checking"

I kept surfing through the inventory until I found an eye mask. I clicked it to see it's attributes

"It looked good truly but judging from the price, it won't be that great"

I thought for momentin fear of buying a fake skill but decided to buy

"It doesn't matter" I said as click the word buy
