As Dax handed the gallon of gasoline to the old lady and got her car running, her gratitude overflowed.

The old lady gratefully. "Thank you so much for your help, young man. You've been a real lifesaver."

Dax smiled warmly and accepted a worn-out coin she offered as a token of her gratitude. With a surprising offer, she added:

Old lady kindly. "Would you like a ride to your destination? It's a sunny day, and I'd be happy to return the favor."

Feeling both grateful and pressed for time, Dax accepted her offer. They set off in her old car, the bright sun casting a warm glow over the road ahead.

Meanwhile, back at Mr. Botello's office, impatience had begun to settle in.

Mr. Botello irritated. "Where is Dax? He's made my decision easier anyway."

Hancock could taste victory in the air, his smug grin growing wider by the minute.

Just when Hancock thought he had the upper hand, Dax burst into the office, clearly exhausted but determined.
