Tydeus. He would run, spinning his sword, and slash the Cytorex soldiers from their horses mercilessly. Tydeus would jump and whack his sword, taking down three Cytorex at the same time from their horse.
General Gyeron might be a bit old but there's a reason why he holds the general title in the entire city of Giza. General Gyeron, with his two swords, kept driving his swords forcefully into the trunks of the Cytorex. Even from their horses, General Gyeron would throw his swords to the hearts of the Cytorex, bringing them to the ground violently. As their general dominated the fight, Captain Kethrax and his fellow captains, with the infantry which held the front, also assisted their general. With the long spears in their hands, they would simply project their spears against the Cytorex forcefully like they were plucking a fruit from a tree and stab the Cytorex from their horses ruthlessly. The armies held their grounds tightly as the Cytorex rammed into their barricade shields, killing some of them, but the armies were valiant enough to counterattack them each time any of the Cytorex got into the barricade. But as they struggle with holding their barricades, they better watch out for their heads because Tydeus was not only slashing the heads of the Cytorex, He would storm onto them violently and lift both they and their horses flinging and crashing them into one another. The Cytorex would probably be asking themselves, What kind of strength is that?... If they don't know yet, they should probably go and ask how the great beast of the dark world, Apophis, was killed; maybe they will have known who they were battling with better. The Cytorex leader from where he was on a hill at the back, observed the fierce battle. They came to camp in the Valley of Bones to prepare an attack against Giza. But as they would have it tonight, the king of Giza and his armies came by themselves to fight them. There is no way they are getting out of this alive. The Cytorex were much; it's as if as they are being killed, they are reincarnating again. General Gyeron, who was starting to get tired, immediately signalled to the rest of his captains and the infantrymen who were behind in the barricade to come and also dominate the battlefield. With their swords and shields, they also stormed against the Cytorex, but the Cytorex were no ordinary fighters; they had the better advantage as cavalrymen fighting on horses, and they were also able to take down many of the captains and even the soldiers despite their trusted shield barricade. Tydeus, as he was fighting, quickly noticed the Cytorex had started to gain points against them. He immediately turned to General Gyeron, “Get the archers ready!” Tydeus told General Gyeron quickly. General Gyeron nodded his head in agreement as he took his attention to his armies. “Archers assemble!” General Gyeron commanded as the armies made their way from their barricades for the archers to move out. And quickly, about two hundred able soldiers marched out with big bows and sharp arrows in their quivers. “Aim!!!” General Gyeron commanded again as they mounted their bows with arrows and raised them for a perfect projectile launch. “FIRE!!!” General Gyeron ordered and this time the archers released the strings of their bows, shooting hundreds of arrows into the sky as it began raining on the Cytorex, Stabbing and piercing into their ugly red armours mercilessly, sending them all to the ground from their horses. King Nezeron from where he was in the middle of the square formation guarded by his special militias, began peeping. He observed his soldiers had started to make progress as Tydeus also didn't relent but kept on fighting furiously, taking down the Cytorex despite their numbers. He comfortably took a breath of relief. The Cytorex leader from the top of the hill where he was watching his armies fight dreadfully, saw that the King's army had started to win his cavalry already, “Impressive! He must have been busy. It would have taken him and his armies months if not years of practice before they could pull out stunts like these”, “But now, enough of all the jokes. They have shown what they are capable of, it is time I show mine. Nezeron and his armies die here tonight”, the Cytorex leader mumbled to himself. He signalled to his artillerymen instantly, “Set them ablaze, Now!!!” Tydeus drew out his sword from one of the Cytorex’s chests violently as the blood splashed onto his face. He turned to the rest of the Cytorex in front who began to look frightened on their horses. They had probably thought the battle was between them and the armies of Giza alone. They should have asked to know who the King's new recruit was. Probably, they should have asked Galdashkeh, the leader of the Iron Mask pirates, if he is still alive, though. The Cytorex definitely do not have any idea who they are battling with. Tydeus positioned his swords again as General Gyeron and his infantrymen, with his captains, marched gallantly behind him to finish the Cytorex once and for all. The Cytorex are obviously doomed tonight. But as they advanced towards the Cytorex, a rumbling sound shook the ground. It is as if the ground is about to open and something is about to come out. Or probably an earthquake is about to occur. The Cytorex leader from where he was, began smiling as the trembling sound took over the entire Valley. King Nezeron and his armies would not know what would hit them, They probably do not have any idea what they have gotten themselves into tonight. There's no way the King's armies are going to beat the Cytorex, not even in their domain. “What is going on?” General Gyeron yelled out suddenly as the rumbling sound increased and the ground began to shake heavily. Tydeus looked around in shock, trying to observe where the sound was coming from or what was about to come out of the ground. “Yeeeeeeeeeey!!!!” The Cytorex battalions roared victoriously; it seemed they already knew what was going on. “What do we do now?” Captain Kethrax shouted to Tydeus who was also confused about the situation. “You all, hold your ground. Do not leave…” *BOOM!!!* A thunderously loud sound came from behind Tydeus and his group.Tydeus immediately turned to his back to see what just happened, and behold, shivers cascaded down his spine and a gasp of terror escaped his lips; he could not believe what he had just seen. A massive explosion had just destroyed the barricade the King's armies had formed with their shields, killing a lot of them.“Yeeeeeeeeyyyy!!!” The Cytorex roared again into the atmosphere. What is going on?“Protect King Nezeron!!!” General Gyeron shouted as he and his Captains ran back to the barricade formation which had been partly destroyed and shielded their king tightly.Tydeus, with confusion written all over his face, saw that many of the King's army were already lying down dead from the thunderous impact of the explosion. But where did the explosion come from? As Tydeus continued to wander in his thoughts for his next line of action, another rumbling sound took over the entire Valley again. The gruesome sound continued to increase gradually like something gigantic was coming towards t
Rakeh and his crew, Sakoh, Artecus and Isis, arrived at the Valley but from the back, where the Cytorex made their camps which were far away from the battlefront. There were lots of tents in the small piece of land where they made their camps. The atmosphere at the back of the Valley was so silent that one could hardly know a fierce battle was happening at the front.Behind the Valley of Bones is a thick bush which is near a river that connects to another road leading into the next City after Giza. The Cytorex must have done their calculations well to come and camp in the Valley; they would have perfectly launched a smooth attack against Giza if the King and his army hadn't come for them.Rakeh and his crew stealthily came down from their horses; the idea is that they shouldn't be noticed until they get the boy, the young prince, out of there. But while they were planning, Tydeus proposed that the back of the Valley would be heavily secured since the Cytorex would be having their host
It all happened around 400 BC. Somewhere on the coast of the River Nile, Cairo in Egypt, Tydeus, his two hands cuffed with heavy chains connected by a long chain cuffing his two legs, was dragged like an ordinary ram by one of the Iron Mask pirates.“Move you rascal!” He yelled at him as he pushed other captives who were lined up at the front.Tonight seems to be the luckiest night for the Iron Mask pirates. This time they caught lots of captives, lined them up and connected them with one long chain, marching them into their big ship. The Iron Mask pirates are one of the most notorious criminal organizations in all of Cairo and other big cities in Egypt.Recognized by their black and ugly metal masks, they're mostly responsible for every kidnapping, destruction, chaos, and violence in the cities of Egypt.Tydeus, one of their long-time targets, has just been caught; this is someone who has always attacked them and ruined their ruthless operations countless times. All the prisoners k
“Boss! Boss!! Boss!!!”“What is it Gryza?” Galdashkeh responded to his pirates’ captain as he adjusted his native wine which was almost pouring from the table.“Boss Galdashkeh, we have just received a message from the Fortress; they are clear to receive us; the reinforcements have also arrived there”,“We can take the ship there now to draft further operations”, Gryza reported to his boss, spreading a small letter and a big map on the table.“Oh well, it seems tonight just keeps getting better and better. We could arrange all the merchandise and prepare them for sale as early as possible” Galdashkeh said, wearing a confident smile on his face as he poured some of his native wine out of the jar into a bowl.“The merchandise? I thought we had agreed to sell it to our clients over the Mediterranean Sea; they have made payments already,” Gryza interrupted.“Oh I forgot, then we can just pick up the other merchandise and prepare them for sale to other clients. You know we need money to bu
*BANG!!!!*The door of the prison in the ship was pushed open.“Move out! Move!! Move!!!”The Iron Masks pirates began bringing their captives out of the prison as they yelled at them like worthless slaves. They have arrived at the Iron Fortress, a big tower situated somewhere in the middle of the water. This is the main hideout of the Iron Mask pirates and here, all their members are present. It seems the night just continues to favour the Iron Mask.Walk faster! Faster!! Faster!!!The pirates continued yelling at their captives as they marched them from the ship to the Fortress.Gryza, the captain of the Iron Mask pirates, walks towards the main door of the Fortress, resting his back on the gigantic gate of the main entrance. He began saying to the captives as they dragged themselves into the Fortress,“The Iron Fortress will be your final stop. Only a strong ship can sail around this area and survive”“The Iron Mask ship is the only ship allowed within sight of this island, any oth
“Take it easy, old man, I get angry easily”, Tydeus responded to the man, his face squeezed like he just tasted an unripe lemon.“I am sorry, I don't just like it when people call me a wizard. I know nothing about witchery. I am just an ordinary scientist.” Apphathorus the old man said, wearing a look of apology on his face.“Oh well, that is your problem,” Tydeus responded.Apphathorus began wondering, “Out of all the people locked up in this cell, why has this man, the one who has been getting everybody's attention so far, come any close to me, let alone having a conversation with me?”Out of curiosity, he asked Tydeus “What exactly have you come here to do?”“To do something unusual”, Tydeus said as he rested his back properly against the wall where they were sitting.“Something unusual? Have you come here to kill me?” Apphathorus asked, his face covered in fear.“Maybe yes,” Tydeus responded jestingly.“Huh?! Please, I beg you in the name of all the gods. I don't have anything on
“What?” Tydeus asked the old man. Apphathorus, with fear written all over his face, asked Tydeus, “Is it true that you killed Apophis, the great beast of the dark world with…”“With my bare hands. Yes, I like it sounding that way?” Tydeus intercepted Apphathorus.“No way!” Apphathorus exclaimed gently.“So how were the Iron Mask able to capture you? If you could kill such a gigantic creature like Apophis, how in the world would it be difficult for you not to save yourself from ordinary pirates?” Apphathorus asked curiously again.“Capture me? Who said they captured me?” Tydeus said, almost laughing.“So how did you get here? How is it that you are here now?” Apphathorus asked fastidiously.“To do something unusual as I have said before. I came here to complete my job”. Tydeus replied confidently.“Job?? What job? Who comes into a prison to complete a job? That sounds like madness.” Apphathorus replied to Tydeus, his face covered in confusion.Tydeus looked at him and smiled again.“W
Only two pirates were guarding the gates of the prison. With an astounding shock, the other pirate guarding the cell's gate turned to his colleague.“What do you mean took you so lo…”Before he could complete his sentence, Rakeh, Tydeus's friend who has been disguising himself as one of the Iron Mask pirates since, threw a spinning kick to the face of the other pirate, hitting his head on the wall.Rakeh pulled off his pirate's Mask, picked up the keys from the other pirate's pocket and opened the gate of the cell. “Come on man, move out, let's go. We don't have much time anymore” He said as he pulled Tydeus and the old man out of the prison. “This pirate outfit looks good on you,” Tydeus said hysterically to Rakeh. “Oooh, spare me the crap; what the heck have you been doing in there since?” Rakeh questions Tydeus as they begin running, finding their way to the nearest exit.“I was only having a little conversation with our man; I wanted to be sure so we do not make a mistake rescu
