The leader swung his bat in a wide arc toward Oliver, his face twisted with intent. Oliver sidestepped smoothly, his movements quick yet controlled, causing the bat to cut through the air where he’d just been standing.

Oliver's hand shot out, grabbing the bat mid-swing and twisting it from the man’s grip.

"You really don't want to do this," he said, his voice steady as steel.

One of the other men charged at him with a shout, lifting his bat overhead. Oliver ducked, letting the bat swipe harmlessly over his head before he delivered a swift jab to the man’s gut, sending him stumbling backward, gasping for air.

A third thug lunged, aiming low to sweep Oliver's legs out from under him. Oliver anticipated the move, stepping lightly to one side as he dodged the strike and countered with a quick kick to the man's knee, dropping him to the ground with a grunt of pain.

The remaining two men hesitated, exchanging a look of doubt.

I mean, he’s just a man fresh out of prison!"A suited businessman scoffed, “Elena deserves better—someone like Antonio Casappa, a real man of power. The kind who’s earned his wealth and has a reputation to match.”Heads nodded in agreement as Antonio Casappa’s n
