He heard a knock on his door. His eyes rolled to the clock hung in his room. It was 1pm and he wasn't expecting anyone. The drowsy man let out a yawn and jumped from the bed while dragging his feet towards the door.

Although, he carried an object of defense just In case it turns out to be a thug or threat at his door. He turned the door knob intending to see who it was, but suddenly, someone hugged him which made him flinch but he realized who it was and so he had to remain calm, though confused at the same time.

It was Natalie, and she was pouring out her tears on his shoulder, whimpering. He had to close the door and refrain from the hug as he seems puzzled, wondering what would bring the queen bee to his house.

“Rodger…” She muttered, embracing him again as her body was shivering that she couldn't utter a word except his name because she was trembling and anxious. He cuddled her in his arms, assuring her that she would be fine. Rodger was unable to make her speak, but he could tell
