Without hesitation, Emily and everyone present in the room welcomed and greeted Dr Hayes with utmost respect.

His reputation as a healer preceded him, and they were hopeful that he would be able to save Zane.

After examining Zane thoroughly, Dr. Hayes straightened up and shifted his gaze to Dave with a disdainful look on his face.

"This method," he said, glancing briefly at Zane, "of making her undress and sit on hot ginger water for treatment, is nonsensical and clearly carries ill intentions!"

Dave who was standing calmly in the corner, met Dr. Hayes' gaze without flinching.

"She needs to soak in hot ginger water combined with acupuncture treatment to recover," he stated firmly.

"If I wanted to pursue women, I wouldn't need to use such despicable means and certainly wouldn't take advantage of a sick patient."

The room fell silent as Dave continued with his voice steady and clear.

"It's your dirty minds that see ill intentions where there are none," he said, looking pointedly at
