I THOUGHT SHE WAS YOUR GIRLFRIEND

Anabelle thought about Reuben with smiles on her face until she drifted into deep sleep with the smile not fading away from her face.

Reuben woke up the next morning almost late for work.

He had overslept

He hurriedly prepared himself for work.

He got to the office just in time to meet the manager.

“ Good morning sir” he greeted

“ Good morning Reuben. I can see you have enjoyed your free day to the fullest.

Welcome back.” The manager said.

“ Thank you sir. Thankyou for the day off sir" Reuben replied.

“ You are welcome, get right in and resume your work. We have so many orders to attend to today so it's going to be a very busy day.”

the manager said and left hurriedly, leaving Reuben no time to respond nor say anything.

Reuben hurried through to the office and began his work for the day.
