CHAPTER 42

YOU ARE FULL OF SURPRISES

Reuben called Anabelle and they had a long talk about Reuben's grandfather.

Anabelle seemed to be cool with the man already and the man already liked her.

After both of them began yawning on the phone. They bid each other good night and ended the call.

Reuben slept off after having a cold shower.

The next morning, Reuben woke up from sleep very early at dawn. About two hours before his normal waking time.

He did not go back to sleep. Instead, he got up and prepared for the day quickly.

He was supposed to report to work at 8am but by 6am, Reuben had dressed up and was ready to leave the house.

He got on his motorbike and drove out.

Instead of going to his workplace, he rode straight to his grandfather in the new apartment.

Grandpa realized when he rode into the compound. He quickly opened the door and welcomed him in.

“ Good morning grandpa. How do you feel around here?”
