Vincent closed his office tightly. He didn't want to be disturbed by anyone. His attention was only on the start-up competition. Not even Alvin was allowed in without urgent business from the President Director, Mr Eduardo.

That afternoon, Milea came to Vincent's office. She came in a hurry. In fact, she seemed to have barged into Vincent's room without permission. Suddenly, she was stopped by several security guards, right in front of Vincent's office.

What's going on? Why isn't Milea allowed in? She asked in surprise. Because Alvin ordered the security guards to tighten the security around the Vice President's room.

"Move aside!" ordered Milea rather fiercely at the two security guards standing in front of Vincent's office door.

"Sorry, Miss! Young Master Vincent does not allow you to enter his office," the security guards respectfully forbade in front of Milea.

"What did you say?" Milea was furious. She was rattling her waist in a fit of rage. She kept forcing her way into Vincent's room.

"I'm sorry, Miss," the two officers said in turn.

"How outrageous of him! He's so loud when he's the Vice President. How annoying!" Milea was upset. She cursed at Vincent in front of his office door.

Hearing the commotion Milea was causing outside, Vincent took action. He opened the door and told her to come in.

"Come in, you're making so much noise, Milea!" Vincent ordered. Milea waltzed freely into her future fiancé's room.

"Why am I not allowed in your office?" Milea asked curiously. "What have you been doing all this time?"

"I was working," Vincent replied.

Vincent sat back down at his desk, continuing his work that had been delayed just now.

Milea approached Vincent and looked at his work. "Did you enter the competition? Why, don't you already have everything from my Dad?" she asked knowingly.

"Joining the competition ... was my dream. I've been preparing for it for a long time. So, I have to make it happen soon," Vincent explained. Milea nodded, even though she didn't understand what Vincent was saying at all.

"If I may know, what application are you developing?" Milea asked further.

"It's a secret. I won't tell you. So, just shut up," Vincent said.

Milea had interrupted his concentration. Now, she was grumbling in front of him. Because she didn't get a satisfactory answer from Vincent.

"What a cheapskate!" muttered Vincent.

Vincent can't work if Milea keeps babbling in front of him. In fact, he must immediately prepare a presentation in front of the committee and judges at the competition. Rather than hamper his creativity, he felt he had to send Milea back to his office. Otherwise, Milea was very noisy.

"Milea!" called Vincent. Milea turned her head.

"You'd better get out of my room right now," Vincent gently shooed her away.

"What's wrong with that? I just want to know what you're doing," Milea reasoned. "I'm not allowed to know," she muttered irritably.

Vincent got up from his seat. He grabbed Milea's hand and led her away from his office. Milea felt offended that Vincent dared to kick her out of his office.

"Get out! After I finish my work, we'll talk later," Vincent ordered.

Milea was really angry this time. She went straight to her room while slamming the door. "Who does he think he is? He dares to ignore me. Watch out, Vin!"

A few days later, Vincent was ready to present to the jury. He followed the entire series of selection events in a digital start-up programme. In the selection process, the jury will assess whether a digital application programme presented by each participant is feasible or not.

After presenting his work, Vincent passed and successfully participated in the next stage. That is the development of digital applications. Not only Vincent, Edward also passed the selection and they will compete in the next round.

"Vin, congratulations to you!" said Edward. He approached Vincent after presenting his programme concept.

Edward extended his hand and hoped Vincent would shake it. Unfortunately, Vincent did not want to shake his hand. How arrogant of this new rich guy, Edward thought to himself.

"Yes, congratulations to you too," Vincent replied simply. He had to admit, Edward was good. The proof was that his presentation was quite good and he passed the selection too. He would be the toughest rival for him later.

Edward smiled meaningfully as he came face to face with Vincent. He had something on his mind. Vincent's application was indeed superior to Edward's. It fuelled Edward's desire to cheat behind Vincent's back.

"See you in the next round, Vin! I'm really looking forward to your excellent programme," Edward said as he walked away.

Vincent laughed rather sarcastically at that. He knew the type of cunning man Edward was. The man who was his rival was very dangerous. He had to be wary of him from now on. Because that rotten man could turn the corner and even push him to the brink of destruction.

"Vin!" called one of the organisers. Vincent rushed over to him.

Edward looked back again, noticing that the organiser and Vincent were talking. It looked very suspicious.

"Congratulations, one of our honorary judges really liked your programme idea," a forty-something woman told Vincent.

"Fight to the end! The jury is watching your work," she said again. "Good luck!"

"Thank you," Vincent said. He was honoured to hear that. Hearing her words, he became more energised.

It was different with Edward. He felt jealous that Vincent was ahead of him. Apart from Vincent's conversation with one of the organisers at the competition.

Edward knew that Vincent was always better than him. That's why he thought about how to get Vincent out of the competition.

While thinking of a plan to eliminate Vincent from the competition, Milea's name flashed in Edward's mind. This is the time, Edward will use Milea to make Vincent give up on the competition, he thought.

Secretly, Edward followed Vincent to his company. Unintentionally, he saw Milea loitering in front of his office building. What a coincidence, Edward said.

"Excuse me, Miss Milea," Edward greeted Milea kindly. "I am Edward. Some time ago, I was still an employee here," he said while introducing himself.

"Yes! What's wrong?" asked Milea. She didn't really know the former employee in her company named Edward.

Edward smiled sweetly in front of Milea. There is an evil intention in his heart.
