179. Coffee.

Lucas stared at the man seated across him, smiling brightly. He couldn't believe it, Mike was trying to get rid of him. But for what?

Then it hit him. If he was out of the picture, there would be no one to question his authority, and he would have easy and unlimited access to the funds of the company.

Why? He took Mike as more than a staff, he was a friend to him… a really close friend.

Greed was a really terrible thing. The company his father built from the scratch, everything his parents worked for. First his cruel mother in-law/ foster mother tried to steal it from him. Now his friend was doing the same.

He dropped the cup back on his desk and smiled. "You know, instead of taking coffee as a celebration drink, I was thinking that we should just go out… maybe for lunch."
