232. The Warning.

Ivy sat in the living room, cradling Desmond in one arm, and a cup of coffee in another. Having Marco around had been too unbearable and so Lucas had taken him to detective Jones.

She took a sip of the heated liquid in her little mug and inhaled as she felt the warmness of her drink slide pleasurably down her throat.

Whenever Ivy drank coffee, she always felt calm, like she had just been relieved of a huge stress and that was part of the reason she loved it and could never give it up.

She noticed that Desmond had already dozed off so she laid him gently on the couch and placed a light kiss on his forehead.

"Now, for me to get myself a snack." She always tried to keep herself from eating anything in front of Desmond because he would start crying and throwing a fit over it… even though he couldn't eat it yet.

She had barely made it to the kitchen when she heard a loud thud against the door. "Who's there?"
