CHAPTER 31

Asher stepped out of the office calmly, his eyes focused on the goal of meeting the client. Kailos followed faithfully behind him, keeping a distance but remaining alert. Suddenly, in the middle of the lobby, appeared William, Asher's most disapproving uncle.

William stared at Asher with a look full of hatred. Their steps halted, creating a palpable tension in the air. William walked closer to Asher, tilting his body slightly to whisper in Asher's ear. His voice was low but full of threats, "You will never be able to put me in prison."

Asher grinned, his gaze full of unwavering confidence. He replied calmly, yet his words were sharp as knives, "Oh, Uncle William, do you know the difference between you and me? I am always one step ahead. Prepare for your defeat."

William's face flushed with emotion, his muscles tensed. Asher glanced cynically before continuing his steps out of the office, leaving William standing there with burning anger. Kailos followed Asher, giving a brief look at W
