Clumsy

She quickly got up and clumsily apologized for the mess, her voice tinged with a hint of panic. "I am so sorry," she muttered, her words rushing out in a jumble.

Her eyes darted around the room, desperate to fix the chaos she had inadvertently caused. Before I could utter a word of reassurance, she hurriedly exited the room, leaving behind a trail of apologies lingering in the air.

Taking a deep breath, I felt a heaviness settle over me. Thoughts swirled in my mind, as if caught in a cyclone of confusion and longing.

"What has come over me?" I pondered quietly, my lips pressed tightly together in an attempt to contain the turmoil within.
