Connection

He was taken aback, unsure of how to respond to her, but he recognized the importance of communicating his thoughts. With a hint of uncertainty in his voice, he mustered the words.

"Hmmm, you are correct. I really need you to help me; you promised to help me, right?" Her voice exuded reassurance as she replied.

"Ask me anything, I am giving you my full support. Trust me." He nodded briefly, finding peace in her words.

"I need you to help me with your dad. I realized he was cheating more than you realized, and we have to stop this before it gets out of hand. I don't know if you are willing to do this. But you should know I am not forcing you to do anything for me," Susan earnestly expressed, her eyes locked onto his face. Despite the weight of her words, her lips curved into a gentle smile, offering him a sense of understanding and support.
