"I have been calling you for a few minutes now, and it seems you didn't hear me," she said with a smile. As she spoke about Austin, her face lit up with happiness, indicating her strong affection for him. "Would you like me to tell you more about him?"

"Yeah, perhaps when we return to the house," I replied.

Her smile grew even wider as she said, "Oh, I think you're dying to know all the juicy details about him! Is that it? You're just trying to act all cool and collected, but I can tell you're itching to know more about him."

I gave her a mock-exasperated look.

"You're impossible," I said, but I couldn't help but smile. She had a way of teasing me.

"Just admit it, you're dying to know all about him," she said, poking me playfully.

"Okay, okay, I'll stop teasing you," she said, still grinning. "Let's just enjoy the rest of our dinner, and then we can talk about him all you want when we get home."
