"Wait, did she just collect the phone from me? I couldn't believe it. A chuckle escaped my lips before I swiftly took the phone back from her.

"Alright, sign the divorce papers first and then we can talk about starting over again," I replied, my voice laced with a hint of amusement. But then she took me by surprise with her response.
