As the bouncer threw him out of the restaurant, they rounded him up, there were four of them. Marcus tries to stand up to his feet, but then received a boot in his abdomen, he groan in pain, but they were just getting started, the bouncers continued their beating, descending punches and kicks all over his body.

After teaching him a valuable lesson, they left him on the ground, he was badly injured, his clothes were torn like rags, he was bleeding from his nose and mouth.

They were security men outside, but since Maxwell was a very influential man no one dares to interfere, Marcus carried himself up, his legs were too weak to carry his body, and then he staggered on his steps.

Suddenly Marcus noticed that there were many onlookers who witnessed the scenario, and instead of them to assist him, they laughed and make mockery of him.

"Look how dirty he is"

"Why would anyone tries to go up against a billionaire like Maxwell, upon all people"

"Maybe he has no idea who Maxwell is"

"He was lucky he wasn't killed"

"He looks like a trash, I could get a covid being close to him"

Their words kept echoing in his mind, burning in his heart with every step he takes.

Marcus walked aimlessly, he was not ready to go home, he looked at his environment and he was close to a park, that was completely empty, a perfect spot to think away his problem, he sat on the bench, his body was still aching in pain, and it has resulted to a severe headache, he leaned backwards, then tries to close his eyes, before his phone rang, he brought out his phone but could see the caller ID, it was now a blind screen, it was damaged during the assault, misfortune never fails to find this young man.

Not knowing the caller and unable to pick it, he then used his finger print, it was how he set his phone, and the call was on.

"Hello, am I speaking to Marcus Blackwood?" The caller asked, his voice was a little bit bold and deep.

"I don't think so, I'm Marcus but not familiar with the other name" Marcus replied.

"But are you the one who received the hundred billion dollars?"

Hearing this Marcus became more concentrated.

"Yes I am"

"Finally we have found you, Young master Blackwood" the voice sounded relieved.

"What? Who are you?" Marcus asked in a puzzled state, but he didn't get a reply.

"Hello..hello!" He called again but no reply, he then checked his phone and found out that his phone was shut down, it's battery had been drained.

"No no no no!" Marcus was devastated, this was the owner of the money, the person might think he deliberately off the phone.

Marcus stood up, trying to find a way to charge his phone, but as he tried to move, he felt dizzy, his eyes swirled around, the intense headache, by the time he knew he fell on the ground unconscious.

Marcus was still unconscious for more than a hour, before a vehicle arrived, it was an expensive black car. The door opened, as a man in a black suit and glasses came out, he looked like one of those guys in men in black movie. He ran hastily towards the unconscious Marcus.

"Oh no! Young master" he called out with a clear worried expression.

He then dialed a number on his phone.

"Hello boss, I found him"

"That's good bring him to the mansion"

"But boss, he isn't in a good condition, he's badly injured, and unconscious" the man complained.

"What! Then what the hell are you waiting for, take him to the hospital.

Make sure nothing happens to him or else you're dead" the voice threatened from the phone, and it was damn serious.

"Alright boss" he hung up then carried Marcus like a bride, he opened the passenger seat, placed Marcus gently there, before entering the driver's seat and zoomed off.

The Next Morning…

Marcus grunted slightly before coming back to life, his eyes moved around trying to make sense of his environment.

"Young master, you're awake" was the first thing Marcus heard, he was startled a bit, but then he asked.

"What am I doing here, and who are you?"

"Sorry for making you startled young master"

"Who are you, and why'd you keep calling me that?" Marcus was curious.

"I'm Samuel, but you can call me Sam, and I'm your personal security guard," he said with respect.

"Personal security guard? What are you saying"

"Pardon me, if I made it sound confusing Young master Blackwood, but it's the truth, there's more about you that you don't know yet" Sam said.

"More about me? Can you go straight to the point?" Marcus asked.

"I'm not the right person to explain this to you, I'm but a mere security guard, the boss awaits you, once you recover fully" Sam said with a slight bow.

"Who's your boss?"

"You will know very soon, but for now you have to focus on your recovery, and I brought you something to eat"

Sam then brought a tray from his Conner. The tray was filled with a variety of rich food, a full fried chicken and potato chips, plus an exotic juice.

Marcus in his normal senses would never receive food from a total stranger, but he was damn hungry, and the aroma from the food was irresistible.

"Thanks" Marcus said after taking the tray, then started eating.

Sam waited patiently for Marcus to finish eating, he was shocked at how Marcus finished the entire meal. A testament of how hungry he was, the doctor came and Marcus was discharged, his wounds were properly treated.

Sam explained to Marcus that he needs to come with him to the master, but Marcus was having a second doubt, he barely knew this guy, he can't just go with someone he barely knows, but Sam pleaded, he explained he might lose his job, or even his life failing to bring Marcus with him. However Marcus agreed, and they both walked out of the hospital.

Sam pressed the car's remote, and it groaned to life, Marcus was amazed.

"Are we driving with that car?" Marcus asked unbelievably, he had never entered a car half as good looking at what he was seeing.

"Yes Young Master, but if you don't like it I could order for another one right away" Sam said.

"What? No it's cool" Marcus complimented looking at the car, it had a masculine design, shiny black, the tires had some gold designs on it, its glass was tinted, it looked so much like a Bugatti, although slightly different.

Sam opened the passenger seat, as Marcus stepped in. The car then zoomed into the asphalt. Marcus kept looking at everything inside the car, it was beautiful inside, while the outside was black, the inside was decorated in gold, and the air conditioner inside was massive.

"What type of car is this?" Marcus couldn't help but ask.

"This is Bugatti upgrade 0.01" Sam replied, Marcus was lost he was sure he hadn't heard of such before.

"Is that a latest car, haven't heard of such before" Marcus asked.

"Yes, because this is a customized car, built specially for you, the best the company could invent, a hundred percent bullet proof, designed in the form of a Bugatti la voiture noire, but way more expensive" Sam explained.

"More expensive? Like how much?"

"Roughly estimated it would range from $80,000,000 to $100,000,000" Sam said casually as if the amount he just mentioned was a mere $10.

"Whoa! Massive!" Marcus commented.

"By the way Young master, I found you badly injured and unconscious, what happened to you?"

"Let's not talk about that yet" Marcus replied.

"Did someone did that to you, just mention and we'll make who ever it is pay, with their lives" Sam assured.

Marcus, who didn't need such violence, at least not for now, still rejected the offer. Although Sam said the boss had already heard about it, and also won't be happy to whoever did that to Marcus.

Marcus was still in a state of confusion, and puzzled of the whole thing happening, and who could this boss be?

"So how did you find me, I mean how did you know I was in the park, I didn't remember giving you my location. And how did you get my phone number, or bank account, or even if I'm the real person you are looking for?" Marcus questioned, his eyes seeking for answers.

"I was able to get your location, by tracking your device, so the moment your phone went off, I already

knew where you were. And about knowing your phone number and personal details, that's the work of the boss, and he is never wrong."

As the sun began to rise over the city, casting a golden glow on the streets, Clara and her team stood outside the docks, their breaths still heavy from the fight. With Magnus apprehended and his henchmen scattered, the sense of victory was palpable.“Is it really over?” Mara asked, her eyes reflecting the morning light.“Feels like it,” Clara replied, a cautious smile creeping onto her face. “We’ve fought too hard for this to slip away now.”Marcus stepped forward, pulling out his phone to call the authorities. “They’ll want to take Magnus into custody. This time, he won’t be able to wriggle his way out of it.”As the police sirens wailed in the distance, a mixture of relief and anticipation washed over the group. Clara could hardly believe how far they had come since they had first banded together to confront the darkness in their city.In the following days, word spread about Magnus's defeat and the disbandment of his criminal network. .“Are we really done with Magnus?” Eli asked, stretching as he joined Clara, his face still a mix of exhaustion and disbelief.“Only for now,” Clara replied, glancing at Marcus and Mara, who were going over the plans for their next move. “But it feels good to know we stood up to him. He won’t be back anytime soon.”Marcus looked up, a thoughtful expression on his face. “We need to regroup and figure out what’s next. Magnus may be in custody, but we know he has allies. We can’t let our guard down.”Mara nodded in agreement. “And we need to find out what else he was planning. There’s got to be more to it than just controlling the city through fear.”“Right,” Clara said, her mind racing with the possibilities. “Let’s start by gathering any information we can. We need to dig deeper into his operations.”As the day unfolded, they began strategizing. Clara took charge, flipping through notes and files they had collected over time. “We need to hit his connections hard. If we can disrupt the

Eli groaned but pushed himself up, adrenaline surging through him despite the throbbing pain in his ribs. “I’m good,” he gasped, his eyes darting to the downed guard. “Let’s finish this!”“Good,” Marcus said, his breath steadying as he turned back to the entrance, where the chaos was still unfolding. “Clara, stick close to me. Eli, take the rear. We need to find a way to secure this place before Magnus decides to make an appearance.”“Right!” Clara replied, determination etched on her face. Together, they charged further into the heart of the factory, the sound of the fireworks still booming outside, providing a cacophony that masked their movements. As they navigated through the maze of machinery and crates, the atmosphere grew thicker with tension. Yet, beneath that fear was a resolute determination to confront Magnus and end this once and for all.“Okay, remember the plan,” Marcus whispered, his voice steady despite the tension. “Mara and Eli, you’ll set off the fireworks on the east side while Clara and I create a distraction on the north entrance.”“Got it,” Mara replied, glancing at Eli, who nodded in agreement. As they moved into position, Clara could feel the weight of the moment bearing down on her.
