Chapter Sixty

Mr. Gilead stood from his window and saw as his favourite nephew arrived his house with an uber. His eyes squinted as he tried to understand what exactly was going on. Mark hadn't given him any complaints about his safety and last he spoke to Steven, he was handling the company perfectly. So why then was he not driving his car?

Mr. Gilead could tell that something fishy had happened. He pondered if he should ask him about it or just let it go.

He watched as the boy took slow steps to his front porch and he moved without saying a word. Few minutes later, he heard a knock on his bedroom door.

"Come in," he said silently.

"Hello sir. Your nephew is here to see you," his personal servant said.

"Tell him I will be down in a minute. Thank you Stephanie." Gilead was still looking out the window when and he didn't bother to turn. He only did that when he heard the door close.
