Early in the morning, when Morel came out of his room, he was surprised to see Doris still in his house. Doris was all dressed up, wearing an elegant blazer, and looking ready to go. His hair was neatly styled, and his face showed an unusual seriousness as if there was a heavy burden that he had to deal with immediately.

Seeing Morel looking confused, Doris immediately greeted politely, "Good morning, Master Morel. I'm sorry if I'm interrupting, but I'd like to return to the city due to a problem with one of the Spencer family businesses."

Morel simply remained silent, trying not to care about Doris' words, even though his heart felt uncomfortable. He stared blankly at the window, looking at the sunlight shining into the courtyard of the tiny house, making the atmosphere warm yet contrasting with his cold, alienated feeling. In his mind, dark memories from the past came back to haunt him, taking him back to the times when his life felt perfect but was shattered in an instant.
