Chapter 52

Morel looked at him with questioning eyes, and in a calm yet firm tone, he asked, "Why brings me here?"

Diane took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. She knew this was an important moment, and she must not appear tense. With a graceful gesture, she smoothed her loose hair over her shoulder, then stepped forward to approach the man she didn't know very well.

"Good evening, sir," she greeted in a soft yet confident voice. She bowed her body slightly, showing genuine respect. "Sorry to interrupt your time, but I have something very important to tell you, sir," Diane said in a soft voice. She then signaled to one of the staff in the room. "May I have the guest register?"

The staff immediately handed Diane the guest logbook. Quickly, Diane opened the page containing the signatures of the guests present. She noticed the signatures on the page and found one name clearly written 'Morel.' "Ah, it says your name here. Morel, right?" asked Diane with a smile.
