Morel looked at them with a wide, sardonic smile. His gaze was filled with confidence and satisfaction at the chaos before them. Meanwhile, the previously loud and approaching footsteps suddenly stopped. Silence replaced the commotion that had filled the room.

Martin, who seemed a little relieved, let out a long breath and said in a tone that tried to sound casual, "It must just be people who rented another room nearby and came in groups. There's probably nothing for us to worry about."

Martin's other friends nodded in agreement, visibly trying to calm themselves down. They began to turn their attention away from the door and refocus on the situation before them.

However, Rina didn't seem so sure. She glanced warily at the door, still thinking of other possibilities. Her heart was pounding, and sweat began to run down her forehead. "I originally thought that it might be Morel's friends coming to help him," she muttered as she nervously wiped the sweat from her forehead.
