The driver had finally gotten to the hospital, but the pressure he felt was real. His heart drummed loudly, and he didn't know what else to do.The nurses who had seen him drive in, rushed towards them with a stretcher bed. “Sir well take it from here,” They replied, helping her to the stretcher beds with a worried look on their faces.“You should fill up the form at the receptionist while we'll get her ready to meet the doctor. Don't worry, she'll be fine.” He nodded to her words, and rushed to the receptionist who handed him a form to fill about her.He filled her name, current address, status, etc. some of the vital info he didn't know, he left it blank.”I don't know the rest,” The young lady smiled. “No worries, this is enough.” Once that was done, the driver, who didn't want to lose his job, rushed after her. However, he wasn't allowed into the ER.At this point, they needed to stabilise her. He sat outside, packing back, and forth as he watched a batch of doctors rush in.
He knew what she tried to do. She was trying to avoid any kind of questions she was being asked. The doctors tried to come close, but he held his hands up, making the doctor stop in his tracks. There was no doubt something was wrong. He was sure that something was up, but he didn't want to be the one to tell her.He turned towards her, pulling her face so she could look at him.“If you really want to lie to me, wjy don't you try harder?” She gasped, gulping down the nervousness. She wanted to facepalm herself. Of course the driver would have told him what happened..she had forgotten about that.A sigh left her lips, but she was still hesitant to give away she knew how smart Lorenzo was. If he knew what happened, he wouldn't be determined to know what happened. He would have started the process to deal with Bianca. She shook her head, and turned towards him with a serious look on her face “The doctors have to begin their work on me. I don't feel good.” The truth remained that he was
“Oh my gosh! Damn it!” he stopped the car, his heart drumming in his chest. He rushed out of the car, and looked around to see that no one was around. He ran his hands through his hair, but the only best thing was to check if she was alive. He bent down to check up on how she was breathing, and heaved when her breathing was normal.Once he was sure, he carried her into the car, and drove her to the hospital. He wasn't sure who she was, but he was determined to save her life. She was bleeding from her head, nose, and even from her mouth. She had a very nasty fall after being hit.“Why did you walk in the middle of the road like that?” The man asked himself, trying to get her to the hospital as fast as she could. She was already unconscious. That alone could be a bad sign.Demi didn't care about Bianca running off. She was too much of a child for him, and she needed to go. She was one of the reasons why his plan didn't work.“Just one job!” He growled, moving to go pour himself a glas
Demi felt his eyes darkened, and his heart shattered into bits. He didn't know his father would refuse him the offer he had made. Didn't he sound innocent enough, or was his begging not good enough to Luca.He tried too hard to stay calm because he was boiling inside. He knew he had time to convince his father, but the most important thing was that they needed to do it today. He knew he promised his mother he wasn't going to fail at this mission. He was going to make sure that things worked out and needed the company badly. He needed to take Enzo down. Demi was quiet for a while, and during that time, he was thinking of a way he could use to get his father's favour. He knew his request wouldn't come easy.He was going to make sure his father gave him what he wanted.“But father, I know that you don't want me to be known because you're ashamed to own me.” Luca turned towards him, and was already feeling heavy inside. The fact that his son was actually saying the truth hurt him, b
Bianca closed her eyes for a while, but the next time she opened it, she asked the man if he knew where he was going because had never tried these paths before. Her heart was pounding like crazy and she didn't know what else to do. Her heart felt like it was about to fall out of her chest. She turned towards him, and tried to speak, but then she didn't know if he was even hearing her because everyone since she had gotten into the car, he hadn't spoken. He was just quiet, and Bianca noticed he would often spy on her through the rear view mirror.“Can’t you hear me?” She questioned, and the more he kept silent, the more fear grew inside of her.Her bones were shaking while she tried to swallow the lump that was on her throat. She was super worried, throat turning dry in an instant. Her face was as though it was drained of blood, and he couldn't help, but watch her through the rearview mirror.“Listen to me, where are we now? I've never seen this place in my life,” she spoke so fast she
Fear was still evident in her eyes, and the fact that the man was still standing there was something she couldn't comprehend. She looked around, dirt sticking to her already sweaty body. it wasn't as easy as she thought.Bianca darted her eyes around, and there was something wrong. She noticed it immediately, furrowing her brows with displeasure. It seemed like she didn't know what she was doing again. Her head was about to explode. The truth she had found made her flinch. There was someone else who was not laying on the ground. There were four men chasing after her, one was still on the lookout. Her eyes darted around, and then she turned to the man who the rat of the sun was still blocking.“There's one more person who isn't here,” she blurted out, but since she couldn't get his reaction, she watched with fear.At that moment, there was a light movement of the bushes around. She didn't even know what to do at this time.Even when she was scared, after like a minute of movement, she
The night was still young and while many would have hoped to enjoy the beauty that comes with the night, it had all been disrupted with a heavy downpour, which dropped heavily, forcing everyone to get back to their houses.Lorenzo had been caught outside by the rain, but he had made up his mind despite his health condition to make it back to his house. Apparently, he had gone out to visit an old friend of his, who lived nearby. As he knocked on the gates while the rain poured, Lorenzo cursed heavily; he had health issues and staying under the rain wouldn't help in any way. After several knocks, he felt relief as his beloved wife Bianca stepped out with an umbrella In her hands. For some odd reason that Lorenzo couldn't point out, she looked absolutely furious. "Thank you very much." Lorenzo stated, grabbing his walking stick and hurriedly attempting to step inside. Bianca halted his movement with her hands and Lorenzo became confused temporarily."And where were you all day long?" On
"You slapped me?" Clare asked in disbelief, trying to relish the entire moment, while still rubbing her cheeks. "Don't ask me silly questions. I have always warned you never to interfere in my marriage and you failed to listen. If you keep doing this, I would keep on with my act and there is nothing you can do about it." Bianca berated, staring down at Lorenzo with disdain in her eyes. As Bianca berated Clare, the tension in the room was palpable. Lorenzo knew Clare was going to react."What in heaven's name has gotten over you Bianca? Why have you chosen to be a thorn in your husband's flesh? You were never like this; I once remembered how you claimed to love him so much. I am disappointed in you." Clare stated, shaking her head in disappointment. "You don't tell me what to do Clare and if you keep getting on my nerves, I would be forced to report to father." Lorenzo noticed Clare's hands were folded into a fist and her anger was increasing every second. He adjusted himself for a
