The unfortunate incident

As the argument reached its peak, Miller's rage boiled over, fueled by his father's hurtful words. Unable to bear it any longer, he lunged forward, his fist connecting with Mr. Larkin's jaw with a resounding thud.

Mr. Larkin staggered backward, his eyes wide with shock as he stumbled and finally fell to the floor, his body limp and unmoving. The room fell silent as everyone watched in horror, the reality of what had just happened sinking in.

Mrs. Larkin's hands flew to her mouth in shock as she let out a horrified gasp. "Oh my God, Miller! What have you done? You didn't just lay your hands on your father. Miller!" she cried, her voice trembling with fear and disbelief.

Miller's chest heaved with emotion as he stared down at his father's unconscious form, his heart pounding in his chest. "I-I didn't mean to, I just wanted to teach him a small lesson." he stammered, his voice choked with guilt and remorse.
