"Thank you," She even mumbled a word of thanks to the doctor and didn't notice the uncomfortable look on his face as he hurriedly packed up his tools.

One of them fell on the floor, making a loud crash sound and Heaven didn't hesitate to bend down to pick it up. But she noticed how jittery the doctor's hands seemed when he collected the tool back.

He didn't even remember to thank her in his nervousness and just left the room. Heaven watched him leave with a weird look on her face but shrugged.

He must have a reason for acting so weird. She continued to watch her mother until she fell asleep. She was awoken a few minutes later by the guard she'd ordered to get her food.

Feeling strange, Heaven asked him to stay back in the room and began to devour the food. By the time she was done, the takeaway was in an unrecognizable condition.
