Chapter 146 - Reminisce

Mr. Brown's mouth hangs slightly open as he stares at Daniel as if he has grown a second head.

The room suddenly becomes silent, and there is tension in the air as both the man who came to see Mr. Brown and Daniel stare at him waiting for some sort of response, but Mr. Brown looked like he had been struck by lightning.

"Mr. Brown?"

The man asks in a calm tone, snapping Mr. Brown back to reality. Mr. Brown clears his throat and peels his eyes off Daniel, who stood awkwardly wondering if he had said something wrong.

"Give us a minute."

Mr. Brown says to the man who nods and exits the room, leaving Daniel and Mr. Brown alone.

Mr. Brown gestures for Daniel to come closer, which he does since he was standing far by the door.
