Chapter 147 - The Brown's

Daniel puts down his laptop when he hears the beeping on his phone. He looks over at it and picks it up seeing a text from B.M. company.

Daniel finds himself feeling excited as he opens the text. He wonders if he had gotten accepted to work there. After his dinner with Mr. Brown, he felt assured that he would get a job because of his late mom.

Daniel skims over the text, and a smile creeps onto his face. It wasn't a job offer message. However, they requested his presence at the company.

It was hope enough for Daniel that they were going to deliver good news to him. Daniel quickly gets up and prepares himself to go to B.M company.

When he gest there, he is directed to Mr. Brown's office to see him. Feeling a bit nervous and excited, Daniel knocks and enters into the office with a smile.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Brown"

Daniel was smiling widely, but his smile faded when he saw Mr. Brown wasn't smiling back. Instead, Mr. Brown looked like he was lost somewhere as he stared at the desk.
