Chapter 67 - Hide and Seek

Milan barges out of the office and places a call to his bodyguard when he gets into his office.

"What's going on?"

Milan asks in a slow, calm tone.

"He took a different route and managed to escape. I think he figured out I was following him, so he made another move. "

Milan sighs deeply, rubbing his forehead.

"Why would you let him figure it out. Don't you know you're supposed to be discreet when tailing someone!"

Milan scolds in frustration.

"I'm sorry, Boss."

Milan slumps on his seat and shuts his eyes with the phone still placed on his ear.

"I don't need your apology. Find them. I don't care how you want to do it. "

Milan cuts the call and tosses his phone on the table. He quickly picks it up again and searches for Brienna's contact.

Milan places a call, but he gets no answer. Worried, he goes on to try three more times, but there is still no answer.

Milan sighed in frustration as he couldn't help but blame himself if something were to happen to Mr. Martin's daughter.
