The cops were standing in front of him. He could tell from their number, and the stern looks on their faces.

He had also spotted the identification card before the cop stuck it into his face.

"We are the police. We have an arrest warrant to take you in…"

"Under what charges?" Mr. Lincoln asked, even though images of all the atrocities he had committed in the dark started flashing in his mind.

"Under the charges of embezzlement of company funds, drug trafficking and fraud committed against Mr. Van." The man said, staring at him with hard eyes that suggested he was going to use force if Mr. Lincoln didn't cooperate.

"Drug trafficking." Mr. Lincoln repeated, although it was plainly from shock that they had found that out.

How had they discovered that? No one had been to his home.

The men began to bring out handcuffs, and Mr. Lincoln cast a spiteful glance at Charles.

"You." He gritted out, with his fists shaking, eyes restless, and lips trembling in anger.
