James continued to groan in pain, and kept a firm grip on his hand. His face shone with sweat, and his breath came out ragged, and fast. He looked like he had never felt anything like that in his life.

He couldn't even begin to try to hold the pain in like a man. Everything he felt showed on his face.

James leaned his head against the headboard, closing his eyes like he was trying to forget the pain, or ignore it, but it clearly wasn't working.

He winced several times, and his arms trembled hard. It made Charles feel even more scared, and out of the fear that the system wasn't responding, he went to the bathroom to get a bucket of water.

"No, no… you're not supposed to have it come in contact with water. It's… it's still healing." James grunted.

"Damn, then what do we do?" Charles asked, dropping the bucket, and slamming his fist into his palm in frustration, and just then, letters began to form in front of him.

The system was responding.
