Cora awoke with a stinging headache, her whole body seemed to be throbbing in pain, the realization of what happened hit her.

She sprang up from her bed but immediately stayed down when dizziness welcomed her out of unconsciousness.

She felt a hand hold her down, "Calm down." The male voice said calmly.

"Aidan?" She called but her voice only came as a whisper.

"Yes darling, I'm here for you. I'm right here." He answered, tucking her loose strands of hair behind her ear.

She took a deep breath to relax herself, the scenario of what happened before she passed out playing vividly in her head and her heart aches to such an extent that it seems like there's a huge lump stuck in her chest.

She blinked back her tears, took a deep breath and tried to calm her aching inside down.

"Jett's dead, isn't he?" She asked, hoping that everything was a nightmare she'd just woken up from.

"I'm sorry Cora." Aidan murmured, patting her hair.
