A flash of white and green shadows seemed to be milling about. Wusssshhh ... wussshhh!. Dry leaves flew as the two shadowy figures passed by. Occasionally, the sound of women's laughter can be heard amidst the roar of the wind caused by their movements. Their movements gave rise to white and green silhouettes adding to the beauty of the scenery at the foot of the Three Fingers Mountain.
When they stopped, they began to see their figures, which turned out to be Ki Wicaksono in a white robe and Gayatri, who was clad in all green clothes. Gayatri appears to be holding a long staff while Wicaksono only has a fist.
“The Dance of the White Dragon Move!” shouted Wicaksono while moving his body like a person dancing which was getting faster and faster so that it looked like a white dragon squirming while its arms were open like a dragon's grip.
"8-way Stick Arts!" Gayatri started playing her bamboo stick trying to roll up a white dragon that was writhing but her attacks always missed the target and could only spin following the contortions of a white dragon-shaped shadow.
It doesn't appear that Ki Wicaksono is actually blind because he can always guess the direction of Gayatri's attack.
"The jutsu is really powerful, how come Yatri isn't taught?" Gayatri grumbled while trying to roll the white dragon earlier.
"I said that you have to teach this technique with dragon bones, otherwise this technique can destroy your internal organs," continued Ki Wicaksono.
"How can you know if there are dragon bones or not?" Gayatri asked curiously
Wuuussshhh ...!
Instead of answering his grandson's question, Wicaksono instead spun like the wind rolling Gayatri's stick until the stick bounced off his grandson's hand.
"Grandfather is really mean, instead of answering my question, you attacks with a move that can't be defeated," Gayatri was annoyed.
"You are not focused Yatri, you think too much and ask questions so your attacks are sluggish," Wicaksono tried to calm his grandson's anger
"It's not that Grandpa doesn't want to teach this style, but this style has to be discovered by himself and learned directly from the sacred book itself."
"How many moves do you have?" Gayatri asked curiously.
“It is said that there are 9 Dragon Power Techniques in 9 different Scriptures. Grandpa alone can only find 1 book, namely this White Dragon. Once successfully studied, this book will disappear stored again somewhere. Only selected Dragon Children can find this book and study it," answered Wicaksono.
"Just one move is as powerful as this, what if you can learn 9 moves, right?"
“There is only one Dragon Warrior who managed to learn this entire Dragon Style. He is the Chosen One who managed to defeat ancient mythical creatures in the Kamandaria region, especially the Three-Fingered One-Eyed Giant whom he defeated with the most powerful Dragon Kick. He is our first King Darmawangsa who founded the Kamandaria Kingdom after successfully uniting all nations and creatures in the Kamandaria Region," said Ki Wicaksono.
"That means Grandpa sucks, right? He can only do one move, hihihi!" teased Gayatri.
Wicaksono only smiled at his grandson's teasing. He was not offended because he knew his grandson was only joking, there was no intention to insult him. "Go ahead, take a shower first. Tomorrow grandfather will teach you another style.”
"Now dragons are still there or not Grandpa?" Gayatri asked, not caring about her grandfather.
“Whether or not grandfather is there, I don't know. There are many rumors that someone saw a dragon that had flown out of the Dragon Valley through the Red Mist above, but no one dared to go down there because it was very steep and foggy.”
"Grandfather, where did you find this White Dragon move from?" asked Gayatri.
“Ssssttt, grandpa can't tell but it must be in the Black Mist Village.”
"If the aura is strong and chosen, the Dragon Warrior will get a vision in a dream to find the Dragon Books one by one," continued Wicaksono.
"Grandfather in his entire life only dreamed once, but that was enough for grandfather!" said Wicaksono.
"Would rather live alone in the countryside than rule in a big city."
"Okay, Yatri, take a shower first. Grandpa, someone is coming!" Gayatri continued pointing to the youths who entered the forest house where they were.
"That's Sis Isyana...!!!!", shouted Gayatri loudly spontaneously excited.
Gayatri immediately ran to Isyana who came with Candaka.
"How are you sis, uh, sis, who is this person, how come he's so dirty?" Gayatri said, ignoring Candaka who had a sullen face.
Isyana immediately greeted Ki Wicaksono while Candaka only bowed respectfully."Grandpa, Yana's friend wants to meet Grandpa, he says it's necessary," Isyana said calmly."Sorry Grandpa, I'm Candaka, who wanted to ask Grandpa yesterday," continued Candaka politely."You heard yesterday that you want to find your uncle Syailendra, right?" asked Wicaksono again.“Actually, what relationship do you have with this person named Syailendra. As far as grandpa knew he had no nephews. If I may know your mother's name, what is it, son?""My mother's name is Sri Ningsih, grandpa," answered Candaka.Wicaksono was abysmal when he heard Candaka mention the name of his daughter who had vanished in the Black Mist, long time ago."Nooooo ... Impossible ... How could Ningsih still be alive after being engulfed in the Black Mist dozens of years ago? grumbled Wicaksono."Grandpa ... Grandpa, why?" asked Isyana slowly."It's okay Yana!" Wicaksono tried to calm down."Where is your mother now?" inquired Wi
Candaka and Isyana arrived early in the morning at Dragon Palm Institute. It seemed that Bram was ready for the first training he would teach Candaka. The Dragon Palm Style is very famous throughout Black Mist Village and even to the surrounding villages. Even though this stance is not part of the 9th Kick of the Book of the Dragon Power, the efficacy of this stance has made the Dragon Palm Institute highly respected by all parties, from the rich, officials, common people, even bandits don't dare to harass this Institute, especially the Isyana Family who founded this Institute, decades ago. That's also why the bandits that bothered Candaka before were so afraid of Isyana. The Dragon Palm style only consists of 8 moves but is very effective for both close and long range combat. For Candaka, only 2 techniques will be taught, namely the Dragon Grasp Style to attack and the Dragon Shield to defend. The Dragon Grasp Style has 18 attacking moves from head to toe with the hand gripping posi
Candaka is dreaming again, only this time he dreams of being in a dark forest with big black dead trees that seem to want to swallow him whole. In the darkness he saw a bright light at the end of the forest shining over a waterfall that cascaded from the hills above this dead forest. As he was trying to enter the cave behind the waterfall, a flash of white light suddenly appeared, which became more and more real, resembling a dragon. The Dragon's mouth opens spitting white Fire at him, and Candaka wakes up startled with his whole body blackened by black soot which adds to his filth. He was still in the inn room but strangely his body felt like it had been burned by a fire leaving burning residue on his body which still smelled scorched but his body was fine."Tomorrow I have to ask Ki Wicaksono the meaning of my dream," he thought again. He also just realized that he forgot to ask where his uncle was yesterday.Candaka fell asleep again and had the same dream as before. This time he w
Early in the morning, Candaka left the inn intending to go to Ki Wicaksono's Forest Lodge. He chose the morning that was still dark because he was worried that his dream would come true, but hope was just hope. As soon as he left the inn, he was immediately confronted by a group of bandits who had ganged up on him before."Hey dirty young man, you are called Boss ...!!!" exclaimed one of the bandits whose face was bearded"Don't fight then you will be safe!" he continued. An intention arises to use the style that Bram just taught him, but his intention is abandoned because Candaka is also curious to find out who the boss of these bandits is, who really wants to meet him.Candaka followed the group of bandits to a luxurious building in this village. The yard with a fish pond and beautiful garden makes Candaka feel that he is not entering the house of the bandit boss. The Beard continued to walk towards the living room of this building. From a distance, a figure dressed in black could b
While walking quickly towards Ki Wicaksono's forest hut, Candaka kept thinking, why are so many problems befalling him? He just wanted to find his uncle following his mother's last message, but what he encountered instead were various kinds of complicated problems for his life."I have to go back to Hut to ask for an explanation from Ki Wicaksono about all this," he said to himself.Different from before when she easily entered the hut in the forest, this time Candaka got lost in the forest and didn't find Ki Wicaksono's hut. The forests seemed alive because as soon as he entered the path in the forest, the trees behind him blocked the previous entrance.Suddenly there was a flash of shadow pulling his hand while shouting, "Come on, hold my hand as tightly as possible if you don't want to be swallowed up by this forest."Candaka, who was still in a confused situation, followed the shadow's suggestion because he started to feel something was wrong with this forest. "Who are you?" he sh
Candaka is still curious about what happened earlier. He clearly saw the Dark Mist approaching him but as he was pulled away by the red dragon's shadow, he didn't see any Black Mist chasing him all the way to the Inn. Besides, why wasn't the dragon shadow afraid of being swallowed up by the Black Mist?He briefly remembered his dream, earlier wasn't he entering the same black forest as the one in his dream? Why did the previously beautiful and green forest turn into a black forest as soon as he entered it. Even though he feels that many strange things have happened to him while he is in this village, Candaka does not give up trying to find out all the answers to the mysteries in this village.“Everything is a mystery in this village. The people also have secrets that do not want to be disclosed. Not to mention that the areas around this village are terrifying and unacceptable to reason," Candaka's thoughts made him even more dizzy and tired.Without him realizing it as soon as his bod
After breakfast at the inn, Candaka rushed to the Dragon Palm Institute looking for Isyana. He also wanted to ask Isyana for help to take him to Ki Wicaksono's Forest Lodge because if he went alone he would get lost again in the scary Black Forest. The Dragon Palm Institute students seemed to be training hard when Candaka arrived there. Even though it was still early in the morning, the activities at this university were very busy. He didn't see Bram but there was a middle-aged man who looked dignified giving instructions to the prospective martial arts experts. This man is the owner of Dragon Palm Institute named Bagaskara Mukti who is also the father of Brahmana and Isyana. Bagaskara is the richest person in Black Mist Village so he is highly respected by the villagers. There are also rumors that Bagaskara is also a Dragon Warrior but he has never denied or confirmed this. The Dragon Style that he taught at his university were said to be the development of the Dragon Style he had. B
Isyana still remembers her meeting with this dirty but funny man while smiling while watching Candaka leave the Dragon Palm Institute. At first he just wanted to play this innocent man for fun but after a while a feeling arose in his heart and started to like this young man for who he is. "How can I like him?" he said to himself while his face was red."Isyana ...!!!!" a thunderous scream broke his reverie."Yes Mom ...!" his answer was no less long than the screams of Asmawati."Where have you been all day ... Mom has been looking for you. How come girls are wandering around like that?” Asmawati grumbled as soon as she saw Isyana approach her."Where was that beggar from, how come you are so kind to him?" asked his mother"Aaahh Mom ... That's not a beggar Mom ... That's your future son-in-law ... hihihi ..." joked Isyana."You, hufh ... Can you be a little serious ... Being scolded is even weird, it's not clear," Asmawati started tweaking her daughter's ears."Auch ... It's hurts Mo
