Darkness enveloped Daemon as he continued running from the enemies. Though there isn’t any sound of distant footsteps trailing from behind and, though he doesn’t sense any danger, he still continued running. The dead silence of the night filled the vipers with a sort of fear and terror for their own lives. They’re used to this but, in that moment, these elements feel almost foreign to them.
