“You’re back.” Daemon said as the door of his room opened.

He’s not actually in his room. He’s still in the same treatment facility where he’s being tended to and, the reason why he’s alone here became clearer to him after spending a whole day in it when he woke up. It’s probably for the sake of his own safety.

This is the only reason he can think of because, the only ones who have visited him since he woke up are Ashley, Desmond, and the doctor who’s been treating him. Other than them, nobody else is allowed to enter and, besides that, there even seems to be a lock on his door. Proven by the sound made in front of it before Ashley is able to enter.

That’s right. The one who visited him in that moment is none other than Ashley herself. The second highest ranking fighter in their division. Only second to Daemon himself which the teen finds to be ironic. After all, he hasn’t actually gotten that much stronger. The only reason he’s even able to get Leon’s rank is because there’s a cheat
