Beyond the unforeseen change in attitude in his subject, he felt like he was making huge strides in terms of ingratiating himself on the beautiful Heather's good graces. It was a happy coincidence that the place he chose for tonight's date was a place that his subject clearly frequented and possibly adored. And it was a miraculous stroke of luck that the wallflower-turned-rose was clearly running on pure instinct now.

"What would you like to order?"

"The Beef Stew please," The scheming COO absently replied, before adding another item in his order. "and a side of rice."

The COO thought that his eyes might've been playing tricks on him back at the school gate, that his lust was affecting his judgment a tad too much for his liking. But from the way his specimen almost seemed to stop herself from saying t

It was a small miracle that Ian showed up with their orders, his timing as impeccable as ever whenever it came to serving his paying customers. Heather was sure that she had lost all control when her despicable date mentioned the mere thought of having children. It was still a sore spot for her, having been cursed to no longer have the ability to become pregnant after her grueling ordeal years ago. She had made peace with it, of course, but with her mind as unruly as it was now, old grudges and misgivings were sure to rile her up beyond her ability to restrain herself.Good thing she didn't have any sort of weaponry on her person today. On the flipside, the redhead hadn't pigged out this hard in months. Sure, she had the opportunity to do so in her previous date with the COO in front of her, but that was an unmitigated disaster. Plus, she was still a normally restrained, functioning adult

Her madly blushing face was barely an inch away from his as her beautiful ruby and sapphire eyes stared intensely into his own. There was a certain manic tone that he saw inside those mismatched orbs that set his soul afire; a familiar feeling of being confronted...A challenge then."Very well then," The COO acquiesced, both hands clasped in front of him in a waiting manner. "What would you like to know?"

Helly celebrated her victory the only way she knew how: with more of Ian's sweet coconut cream pie going down her throat."Round two then?~"That was satisfaction at its finest; one-upping your opponent in their own game. The happily delirious redhead could never have enough of that kind of victory. Especially since she hadn't experienced what it was like in a long ass time."Very well."To his credit, Dio found his composure relatively quickly. "Well?"Heather reiterated, more like challenged, her intrepid class as she lazily waited for their first move. They all danced around the teacher's sidelines; as if waiting for the first one to dare and ask their irate homeroom teacher a question. The tension was palpable; something that the redhead never thought would happen in her classroom setting. At this point, she might as well call it a day and get them to take the quiz already. There's no-"Uhmm..."The awkward silence was broken as a meek voice from behind the gaggle of students spoke up. Heather raised her head up in curiosity; trying to find the girl

A pregnant pause enveloped the classroom as Heather's daring statement reverberated its last throes throughout the room's walls. For all of five seconds, the teacher basked in her meticulously controlled environment, reveling in the fact that she had made her students' prank on her backfire on them in such a spectacular fashion.Really makes it sobering when she remembered that they'll no longer be her homeroom once March rolls around."Might as well get it over with, Teach." a young, gruff voice echoed out from the other side of the room, revealing her rather brawny student."Miles," she nodded as she opened up

It's over! It's finally over!- E-eherm..Well wasn't this a trainwreck of a story.Heartstrings was supposed to be over well over a month ago. If it weren't for an arbitrary chapter and word count requirement, as well as poor planning, this thing would've been done in just over 80 to 90k words just like its predecessor. It was clear that the warehouse was currently being used."Charlie?"Delving deeper into the warehouse, she couldn't help but feel that danger was just around the corner; her heart hammering with excitement as she cautiously turned another corner.
