Adam hesitated for a moment, but then the knocking grew louder and more insistent.

"Adam, Lilith, are you in there?" Aria's voice called out from behind the door.

Adam swore under his breath and pulled away from Lilith, leaving her panting and unsatisfied on the bed. He quickly pulled up his pants and made his way to the door.

"Aria, what are you doing here?" he asked, trying to sound as casual as possible.

Aria looked at him suspiciously. "I saw you and Lilith leave together, and I just wanted to make sure everything was okay."
