Lilith gazed at him with wide eyes, her eyebrows furrowed in surprise.

"What? Why's that?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Adam gave a small shrug, his hand gently brushing over Lilith's still shaking body.

"I just always thought that if we had children, they would be boys. You know, to carry on my legacy," he explained, his voice soft and soothing.

A small smile spread across Lilith's lips as she traced her fingers lightly over Adam's firm chest.

"Well, who knows?" she said, her voice filled with hope. "Perhaps we will have a daughter who is just as strong and capable as any son."

Adam chuckled softly, wrapping his arm around Lilith's waist and pulling her closer to him.

"You're right," he agreed, his breath warm against Lilith's ear. "As long as our child is healthy and happy, that is all that truly matters."
