Adam was begging. Those were his initial days when he had to put his pride aside and beg in order to survive, to sustain his livelihood. Living in abject poverty and on the mercy of other people after getting betrayed by his aunt, he suffered through a lot, perhaps because he wanted to suffer.He didn’t think there was any point in living after the two people he trusted the most ended up betraying him.
