Chapter 4: Kian's Explanation

In contrast to Chyper's condition, Storm found some difficulties when he tried to attack or protect the planets. When he constructed the storm blocks into tower forms, it would be destroyed and avoided easily by the lizard alien. Because of it, he was a little bit worried if he destroyed nothing for the first challenge.

However, in the middle of his fight, another candidate whose name was Ryker threw the stake of gold coins to the lizard aliens. "You need another strategy. I already helped you a bit," said Ryker, the money superpower owner.

"Thanks! I will try!" Storm shouted as he waved his left hand for greeting. He then remembered when he handled the storm with silver sword from the palm of his hands. With the optimistic in his head, he united his hands and pulled it

slowly. Through that movement, the appearance of silver light and sword-like formed.

"Again with another sword man?" Lizard alien surprised from the back. He prepared to attack Storm's neck with poisonous injection.

Then, Storm shifted to the right side and grabbed his swords tightly. "You never know how powerful the sword is," uttered Storm with dignified voice.

"It is just the useless metal that does not really terrify me!" Lizard alien stated strictly. With the anger in his eyes, the alien ran and tried to attack Storm.

Storm who felt dared by the alien ran towards and wave the silver swords to the front. "BLAAAZZZ.." The swords splitted the alien into two parts, and it was still alive.

"What a foolish metal weapon. Do you think it is easy to destroy us??" The splitted lizard alien disparaged with devilish grin.

"Oh crap. This alien is quite strong to be handled," sweared Storm.

Then, in a few seconds, the aliens ran towards him and tried to attack with its claws. However, Storm was aware and directly swinged to the other side.

The fighting scene between Storm and the lizard aliens confiscated the attention of Kian's sons. Blaze who was always amazed by Storm's power asked his dad, "Is he similar to me and other brothers?"

"Kind of, dear." Kian replied with gentle smile.

Following Blaze's enthusiastic, Alaric also asked, "Will all the candidates stay with us? all of them have the powers, and it is really surprising."

"These candidates are related to my few-days-ago conversation." Kian stated with serious gaze to his beloved sons.

"Oh yeah. You almost forget to tell about the conversation." Sirius reminded with the right eyebrow rose.

"So here is the explanation. I hold this competition in order to find you the equal partners for important mission." Kian started to clarify.

"Important mission? Are we ready for it?" Cassian was doubtful once when he heard the word that sounded serious and demanding like 'mission'.

"Well, the mission is to save the earth. I'm sure you all can do it since all of your powers are related to nature and protection." Kian continued the clarification.

"Earth?! It's too big and full of trouble,..." Alaryc started to complain, but Cassian closed his mouth directly and whispered, "Let's listen the full statement from dad instead."

At the remaining time, Kian continued his explanation instead of being bothered by the reaction of the two sons. "Remember, your opponents are the strongest aliens which are mutable, so you need to fight in teams." Kian stated as if his sons were ready to be sent to earth.

"It will be the toughest mission ever. I may need some training program before being sent," said Blaze with wide smile.

Then, another reactions from the others sons came up. "So we are the upcoming heroes for the earth. I need to prepare myself," said Zen with proud amile.

In contrast to Harlin, he stared at Zen and his brothers in turns and said, "It is just like an action movie. I doubt if we can all do it, Dad."

"I believe that all of my sons can do it. You will be sent together with the winning candidates in the end." Kian added his explanation so every son could understand it better.

"The upcoming adventure." Sirius uttered and gave two thumbs up as an agreement that he could not wait to complete the mission.

Then, Blaze reminded his brothers by saying, "We must be more competent to face up the mission since it is related to human beings' safety and lifetime."

The rest of the brothers responded by nodding. They obeyed what Blaze had said as if he was the oldest. No wonder why if Blaze always pretended to be the captain of the brothers.

After the first challenge had been finished, there were about eight candidates who survived, including Storm. Those candidates were able to protect and defend the planets from aliens' invasion and attack.

Then, the MC announced the next challenge who made the yard transformed into the virtual reality of anonimous city on earth. There were some citizens who suffered with the damaging building around them. That kind of situation amazed the audience once again.

"In the second challenge, the candidates should work in teams to defeat the boss stages. There will be around five stages with different purposes." The MC announced with wide smile. He could not wait to see the candidates who were supposed to decide the righteous action to solve the problems given.

Half of rhe candidates who listened attentively wondered about the activities in each stage. For the rest of them thought about team division which they believe as the main factor to reach the winning stage.

Then, about few seconds, the MC added, "The winner for this challenge is decided through the criteria, such as, creativity, resilience, wisdom, dexterity, and punctuality. Each criteria must be around sixty. If one or two of them is less than the mentioned score, it will lose the potential to win. May you ask some questions if you need to."

The additional information mentioned made the candidates silent and think further. Most of them tended to reached the maximum standard given, except Storm. He did not really care if he could pass the second challenge. All he wanted to do was just following the rules and trying his best to beat the opponents.

"Being a winner or going home is the risk. It does not mean that I do not want to pass, but I believe that everything can be done with the right method. It will be miserable if I already think of the complex strategy, but the case ends up into the simple one which is impossible to see." He said to himself
